Gobierno lanza estrategia nacional de prevención de incendios en áreas protegida en Siuna

El Gobierno de Nicaragua hizo oficial el lanzamiento de la estrategia nacional de incendios forestales y agrícolas en áreas protegidas con el objetivo de conservar y preservar los recursos naturales del país.

Lo anterior fue expresado por Javier Gutiérrez vice ministro del Ministerio de Ambiente y los recursos naturales, en el acto oficial realizado en la comunidad de las quebradas a 40 kilómetros en la vía Siuna – Waslala en el Caribe Norte.

 “Reafirmamos nuestro compromiso en pro de la conservación de nuestra madre tierra y sobre todo destacamos que este lanzamiento estratégico contra incendios forestales y agropecuarios se basa en controlar los incendios en cada una de las áreas protegidas” expresó vice ministro Javier Gutiérrez.

El vice titular del Marena dijo que las áreas protegidas de la Costa Caribe son patrimonio de todo el nicaragüense por lo tanto desde la comunidad debemos garantizar que los incendios no provoquen daños, ni pérdidas económicas y sociales, para esto va a ser vital la unificación de esfuerzos y el trabajo articulado

El coronel José Román Espinoza Iglesia, jefe del Batallón Ecológico dijo que el Ejército de Nicaragua desde el BECO tiene la misión de preservar y conservar de los recursos naturales, armonizados con las instituciones de gobierno.

El jefe militar llamo a cada comunitario a incorporarse para desarrollar la estrategia, pero, además, desde la parte educativa orientar a los pequeños la importancia de la conservación y conservación de nuestra flora y fauna.

José Luis Solórzano, delegado presidencial para el Triángulo Minero, Prinzapolka, Mulukuku y Paiwas, dijo que debemos trabajar para garantizar que los incendios no nos metan en problemas, y para que la estrategia tenga éxito debemos trabajar desde la familia, desde la comunidad.

El alcalde de Bonanza Alexander Alvarado dijo que para los habitantes e hijos originarios es sumamente importante proteger estos bosques ya que son la casa donde vivimos, ya que nosotros somos de estas tierras, otros vienen destruyen y se van, pero nosotros vivimos aquí y debemos ser protectores de nuestros bosques.

Otilio Duarte alcalde de Siuna dijo que el lanzamiento de esta estrategia indica que estamos preparados para prevenir incendios, estos bloques de brigadas y las instituciones tenemos el deber de proteger nuestra madre tierra”.

Luis Herrera Siles, de la universidad URACCAN dijo que están comprometidos con la protección y conservación de los recursos naturales,

“Es parte de nuestra filosofía y dejamos claro nuestro compromiso creando una brigada contra incendios, además de realizar monitoreo de los puntos de calor para articulados con las instituciones de producción acudir y aportar en la reducción de incendios forestales que afecten nuestras reservas” observo Herrera.

La articulación de brigadas contra incendios, bomberos, gobiernos territoriales, ejército de Nicaragua, guarda bosques, instituciones de gobierno, autoridades comunitarias, municipales y departamentales, logrará la reducción de afectaciones a la madre tierra provocada por incendios forestales agropecuarios en áreas protegidas.

Government launches national strategy for fire prevention in protected areas in Siuna

The Government of Nicaragua made official the launch of the national strategy for forest and agricultural fires in protected areas with the objective of conserving and preserving the country’s natural resources.

The deputy head of Marena said that the protected areas of the Caribbean Coast are the patrimony of all Nicaraguans, therefore from the community we must guarantee that the fires do not cause damage, or economic and social losses, for this the unification of efforts and articulated work

Colonel José Román Espinoza Iglesia, head of the Ecological Battalion, said that the Nicaraguan Army from the BECO has the mission of preserving and conserving natural resources, harmonized with government institutions.

The military chief called each community member to join to develop the strategy, but also, from the educational part, to guide the children about the importance of the conservation and conservation of our flora and fauna.

José Luis Solórzano, presidential delegate for the Mining Triangle, Prinzapolka, Mulukuku and Paiwas, said that we must work to ensure that the fires do not get us into trouble, and for the strategy to be successful we must work from the family, from the community.

The mayor of Bonanza Alexander Alvarado said that for the original inhabitants and children it is extremely important to protect these forests since they are the house where we live, since we are from these lands, others come, destroy and leave, but we live here and we must be protectors of our forests.

Otilio Duarte, mayor of Siuna, said that the launch of this strategy indicates that we are prepared to prevent fires, these brigade blocks and institutions have a duty to protect our mother earth ”.

Luis Herrera Siles, from URACCAN University said that they are committed to the protection and conservation of natural resources,

«It is part of our philosophy and we make our commitment clear by creating a fire brigade, in addition to monitoring the hot spots so that together with the production institutions, they can attend and contribute to the reduction of forest fires that affect our reserves,» Herrera observed.

The articulation of fire brigades, firefighters, territorial governments, Nicaraguan army, forest guards, government institutions, community, municipal and departmental authorities, will achieve the reduction of affectations to mother earth caused by agricultural forest fires in protected areas.
