Unidad para continuar en Revolución
El Presidente de Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, exhortó este lunes a todos los sectores del país a unirse para ser partícipes de un nuevo capítulo de la revolución y de esta manera dar continuidad con los programas y proyectos que ayudan a combatir la pobreza.
Durante un acto realizado en la Plaza de la Revolución en Managua, con motivo de celebrar el 14 aniversario de la incorporación de Nicaragua a la Alianza Bolivariana de Nuestra América (ALBA), el Presidente Ortega exhortó a construir un gran acuerdo nacional una vez que se realicen las elecciones generales previstas para el próximo 7 de noviembre.
En el acto, que también celebró 14 años del restablecimiento de la educación gratuita en Nicaragua, participaron decenas de jóvenes sandinistas, la Vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo y varios miembros del gabinete de gobierno.
El líder sandinista hizo su llamado a la unidad nacional, citando al Héroe Nacional Rubén Darío. “Como dice Darío, «¡únanse!», y tenemos que unirnos nuevamente, todos los sectores, la juventud, los trabajadores, los campesinos, los productores, los comerciantes, el sector turístico, emprendedores, los maestros, maestras, los trabajadores de la salud, los trabajadores de la construcción”.
En este sentido, el Presidente citó el famoso poema de Darío «Canto de Vida y Esperanza», y describió que “ese grito que nos lanza Rubén y que nos dice, “¡Únanse, únanse! Sí, unámonos los nicaragüenses, unámonos y seremos más fuertes para derrotar la pobreza, seremos más fuertes para contar con más trabajo, con más educación, con más salud, seremos más fuertes para vivir con dignidad, y poder caminar con la frente en alto”.
Pese a las terribles circunstancias del fallido golpe de estado de 2018 y las severas consecuencias económicas para todo el país, el líder sandinista aseguró que su Gobierno ha venido trabajando con mucha paciencia para continuar progresando.
“Tenemos que unirnos todas las familias nicaragüenses, para en un nuevo capítulo, en una nueva etapa de esta Revolución de la reconciliación, del entendimiento y de la paz logremos construir en las mismas condiciones, la gran alianza, la gran unidad, que logramos construir en esa primera etapa hasta el año 2018”, invitó el Presidente.
Explicó que esa alianza se derrumbó “porque el objetivo de nuestro enemigo era derrumbar a Nicaragua, apoderarse de Nicaragua, y el pueblo dijo no, después de mucha paciencia el pueblo dijo no, y ahora se trata de ir trabajando para que después de las elecciones de este año, se pueda entablar un gran acuerdo nacional, un gran diálogo nacional para que lo que quedó aprobado en la constitución vuelva a caminar, tomando en cuenta las nuevas circunstancias lógicamente”.

El Presidente se refiere a la reforma constitucional aprobada en enero de 2014, en la cual entre otros muchos aspectos, se incorpora el concepto de alianza con responsabilidad compartida y con diálogo permanente, en la búsqueda de consensos, entre el Estado, empresarios y trabajadores.
Indicó que la prioridad del Gobierno para este 2021 está centrada en los diferentes programas económicos, sociales y de infraestructura que viene impulsando desde hace años y que a partir de este período recibirán un nuevo empuje.
“Y concluimos comprometiendo con nuestro pueblo, todo nuestro trabajo, toda nuestra dedicación, toda nuestra inteligencia para cumplir con todos estos programas y otros que van surgiendo al paso del tiempo. Y este es un año de mucha significación para los pueblos centroamericano, es el año del 200 aniversario de la Independencia de Centroamérica”, recordó.
Dijo que un desafío del FSLN es asegurar el triunfo electoral en noviembre próximo. “Aquí ya el Consejo Supremo Electoral dio a conocer, que se estaría iniciando el proceso creo que en mayo, esa es otra tarea que hay que atender indiscutiblemente para que, para garantizar la continuidad de todos estos proyectos que han venido caminando”, indicó.
En otro orden, el Presidente de Nicaragua instó al presidente electo de los Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, a que su gobierno trabaje con una política de respeto y entendimiento hacia nuestra región, hacia América Latina y El Caribe. “Como lo decía Darío, si Estados Unidos se volcara en esa dirección, ¡cuánto beneficio y cuánto respeto ganaría “, enfatizó el dignatario.
A lo largo de su exposición, el Presidente Ortega hizo lectura de varios escritos políticos del Héroe Nacional Rubén Darío, con especial énfasis en la denuncia del comportamiento imperial de los gobiernos estadounidenses de finales del siglo 19 y de principios del siglo 20.
Concluyó insistiendo en consolidar la unión de los nicaragüenses será eficaz para derrocar la pobreza. “Siempre con nuestra fe puesta en Cristo, con nuestro compromiso puesto en nuestros héroes y mártires. Y nuestros pasos dados y que seguiremos dando con el pueblo, con los pobres para que salgan de la pobreza, con el sector medio, con todos los sectores económicos y sociales, que sepan que aquí está un gobierno que pone en práctica el principio cristiano, amar al prójimo como a ti mismo y le daremos mayor vida, mayor fortaleza a nuestro país”, cerró su intervención el Presidente Ortega.
Unity to continue in Revolution

Despite the terrible circumstances of the failed coup in 2018 and the severe economic consequences for the entire country, the Sandinista leader assured that his government has been working with great patience to continue progressing.
“We have to unite all Nicaraguan families, for in a new chapter, in a new stage of this Revolution of reconciliation, understanding and peace we can build in the same conditions, the great alliance, the great unity, which we managed to build in that first stage until 2018 ”, invited the President.

He indicated that the Government’s priority for this 2021 is focused on the different economic, social and infrastructure programs that he has been promoting for years and that from this period will receive a new push.

And this is a year of great significance for the Central American peoples, it is the year of the 200th anniversary of the Independence of Central America, ”he recalled.
He said that a challenge for the FSLN is to ensure the electoral victory in November. «Here, the Supreme Electoral Council announced that the process would be starting, I think in May, that is another task that must be undoubtedly attended to, to guarantee the continuity of all these projects that have been underway,» he said.
On another note, the President of Nicaragua urged the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, that his government work with a policy of respect and understanding towards our region, towards Latin America and the Caribbean. «As Darío said, if the United States turned in that direction, how much benefit and how much respect it would gain,» the dignitary emphasized.
Throughout his exposition, President Ortega read various political writings of the National Hero Rubén Darío, with special emphasis on denouncing the imperial behavior of the US governments of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
He concluded by insisting that consolidating the union of Nicaraguans will be effective to der rock poverty. “Always with our faith placed in Christ, with our commitment placed in our heroes and martyrs. And our steps taken and that we will continue to take with the people, with the poor so that they get out of poverty, with the middle sector, with all economic and social sectors, that they know that here is a government that puts into practice the Christian principle, love your neighbor as yourself and we will give greater life, greater strength to our country ”, President Ortega closed his speech.
