Ejercito de Nicaragua ocupa madera
El ejército de Nicaragua en una nota de prensa informó que mediante servicios operativos en los municipios de Siuna, Altagracia y Puerto Cabezas, realizaron la ocupación de 4,345 pies tablar de madera de las especies: Níspero, Bálsamo, Nancitón, Pino y Pochote; asimismo se ocuparon 2 camiones, los que eran utilizados para transportar la misma, violentando las leyes de protección de los recursos naturales del país.
Las personas retenidas son: Juana Francisca Mendoza Alemán de 37 años de edad y Kem Stiven Leman Lam de 22 años de edad, ambos de nacionalidad nicaragüense, quienes fueron entregados junto con la madera y los camiones a las autoridades correspondientes.
Durante la retención de los ciudadanos y la ocupación de madera, se emplearon fuerzas y medios del Destacamento Militar Norte, Batallón Ecológico y Destacamento Naval de Aguas Interiores; igualmente los efectivos militares cumplieron con las medidas de protección orientadas por el Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), para prevenir el contagio de la COVID – 19.
El Ejército de Nicaragua consecuente con el lema de que «Somos el Pueblo mismo uniformado trabajando en su propio beneficio», en cumplimiento al Plan de Protección de los Recursos Naturales y el Ambiente, a través del Destacamento Militar Norte, Batallón Ecológico “BOSAWÁS” y Destacamento Naval de Aguas Interiores “Comandante Hilario Sánchez Vásquez”, logro la ocupación durante el periodo del 13 al 19 de enero de 2021.

The Nicaraguan army in a press release reported that through operational services in the municipalities of Siuna, Altagracia and Puerto Cabezas, they occupied 4,345 board feet of wood of the following species: Níspero, Bálsamo, Nancitón, Pino and Pochote; Likewise, 2 trucks were seized, which were used to transport it, violating the laws for the protection of the country’s natural resources.
The people detained are: Juana Francisca Mendoza Alemán, 37 years old, and Kem Stiven Leman Lam, 22 years old, both of Nicaraguan nationality, who were delivered together with the wood and trucks to the corresponding authorities.
During the retention of the citizens and the occupation of wood, forces and means of the Northern Military Detachment, Ecological Battalion and Naval Detachment of Interior Waters were used; Likewise, the military personnel complied with the protection measures directed by the Ministry of Health (MINSA), to prevent the spread of COVID – 19.
The Nicaraguan Army consistent with the motto that «We are the same People in uniform working for their own benefit», in compliance with the Plan for the Protection of Natural Resources and the Environment, through the Northern Military Detachment, Ecological Battalion «BOSAWÁS» and Naval Detachment of Inland Waters «Commander Hilario Sánchez Vásquez», achieved the occupation during the period from January 13 to 19, 2021.
