Consejo Nacional de Universidades recibe reconocimiento del Consejo Regional en Waspam
El Consejo Nacional de Universidades en las manos de la presidenta Ramona Rodríguez, la rectora de la Unan León Dra. Flor de María Valle Espinoza y la Rectora de URACCAN Alta Hooker Blandford recibieron la orden de la Autonomía, otorgada por el Consejo y Gobierno de la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte, en su octava sesión ordinaria realizada en Waspam.
El Coordinador del Gobierno Regional, Carlos Alemán Cunningham dijo que se le está dando un reconocimiento a los rectores del Consejo Nacional de Universidades, sobre todo la UNAN Managua y la UAN León, donde se han formado los costeños desde hace muchos años, así también se entregó un reconocimiento a la rectorea de URACCAN Alta Hooker, para fortalecer el trabajo de la educación superior intercultural de forma conjunta.
La presidenta del Consejo Regional Emilse Vanegas dijo que el CNU en pleno estuvo en la sesión y se les entrego la orden de Autonomía a los rectores del CNU con quienes se firmó un convenio para desarrollar el programa de la universidad en el campo.
La presidenta del CNU Ramona Rodríguez dijo que es importante participar en la sesión del Consejo Regional y de realizar su sesión en Waspam y URACCAN es parte del CNU, pero este reconocimiento es una gratitud del pueblo caribeño ala UNAN Managua por el acompañamiento que se dio con las brigadas universitarias en momentos difícil para el pueblo caribeños, pero es una oportunidad para unirnos como nicaragüense.
La presidenta del CNU dijo que se fortalece la misión de profesionales con valores y conciencia y esta fue una oportunidad que se le brindo del pueblo caribeño y las autoridades que fueron de mucho dolor y saber que estamos juntos con el Gobierno Regional, poniendo a disposición el aporte a las investigaciones para la reconstrucción.
“Quiero agradecer por ese reconocimiento y fortalecer la reducción en el caribe con el programa La universidad en el Campo que lo leva URACCAN y que es respaldada por el CNU, y la sesión del CNU fue dedicada al pueblo caribeño” afirmó Rodríguez.
La Rectora de la UNAN León, Dra. Flor de María Valle Espinoza, dijo que el reconocimiento que recibió del Gobierno y Consejo Regional del Caribe Norte, para al UNAN León significa más compromiso con Nicaragua, con las familias caribeñas.
Siguiendo la ruta del buen caminar más armonioso, vinculando con las familias entendiendo sus cosmovisiones y entendiendo sus formas de vida y es un incentivo para la universidad para continuar desarrollando programas con más pertinencia en el país.
Para la rectora de URACCAN esta orden es un honor, significa más compromiso, responsabilidad, y continuar haciendo y alzando la bandera de los valores e la Autonomía, trabajar desde la razón y el corazón, es un proceso arduo y es un compromiso desde URACCAN para la Autonomía.
“La autonomía es un reto patriótico y así lo tomo, significa trabajar más y dar más, ser responsable en lo que estoy haciendo” afirmo la rectora Hooker.
Emilse Vanegas presidenta del Consejo Regional dijo que en la octava sesión ordinaria se abordaron varios temas entre ellos es emitir una resolución para que asuma un concejal de Yatama ante el fallecimiento de Julio Chow Zamora.
Se abordó sobre los daños y la asistencia humanitaria que dio el gobierno de Nicaragua a la población afectada en el Caribe Norte.
La Dra. Alta Hooker rectora de URACCAN dijo que desde que fueron afectados con el COVID el Consejo y Gobierno Regional ha acompañado a las universidades y cuando fueron golpeados por los dos huracanes, la presidenta del CNU Ramona Rodríguez les dijo que el CNU está con las universidades caribeñas y el Gobierno de Nicaragua está apoyando firmemente este proceso.
La presidenta del CNU Ramona Rodríguez dijo que estos procesos marcan pautas para que se trabaje de forma conjunta programas y proyectos de investigación en la Costa Caribe.
Así mismo agrego que se está repensando la educación superior en Nicaragua que no solo se puede hacer educación superior en cuatro paredes, sino que se haga educación en cualquier lugar del territorio nacional y haciendo realidad el modelo de seducción para todos y todas restituyendo el derecho a la educación superior que esta impulsadnos el Gobierno de Nicaragua

Dr. Alta Hooker rector of URACCAN said that since they were affected by COVID the Council and Regional Government have accompanied the universities and when they were hit by the two hurricanes, the president of the CNU Ramona Rodríguez told them that the CNU is with the Caribbean universities and the Government of Nicaragua are strongly supporting this process.
CNU President Ramona Rodríguez said that these processes set guidelines for joint research programs and projects on the Caribbean Coast.
