URACCAN firma convenio con el instituto de protección y sanidad agropecuaria
Autoridades de la Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense URACCAN y el Instituto de Protección y Sanidad Agropecuaria firmaron un convenio en Siuna, el cual permitirá desarrollar una serie de pasantías, investigaciones y realizar cursos, maestrías y especializaciones, que son importantes para el desarrollo de la Costa Caribe y el país.
El ing. Ricardo Somarriba director ejecutivo del Instituto de Protección y Sanidad Agropecuaria dijo que cuentan con especialista de muy alta calidad para aportar en los procesos formativos de las universidades y es un mandato de la vice presidenta Rosario Murillo aportar en los pensum de las universidades para tener profesionales con capacidades que aporten al desarrollo de la región y el país.
“La idea es revisar pensum la metodología de estudios, pero además agarra a la gran cantidad de alumnos que van a pasantías, nosotros lo asumimos como institución y los metemos en las diferentes líneas de las cinco líneas de trabajo que tiene la institución” afirmo Somarriba.
Por su parte la Rectora de la Universidad de la Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense URACCAN, Alta Hooker Blandford, dijo que el convenio contempla un programa holístico que parte de la construcción conjunta de un plan de acciones, cursos diplomados, especializaciones, pasantías que permitirá a estudiantes y profesores adquirir conocimientos vinculados al desarrollo del país y la región.
Yamileth Roque secretaria política departamental del FSLN en el Triángulo minero, Prinzapolka y Mulukuku, destaco que es un día muy importante a para la Costa Caribe porque se firma este primer convenio que viene a fortalecer el trabajo de la educación superior en la región caribeña.
URACCAN es una institución de educación superior que cuenta con cuatro recintos en Bilwi, Bluefields, Nueva Guinea y Siuna, también cuatro extensiones en Rosita, Bonanza, Waslala y Waspam.
El Instituto de Protección y Sanidad Agropecuaria tiene la misión de garantizar y fortalecer la protección fitozoosanitaria e inocuidad de la producción agropecuaria, pesquera y forestal.
