Gobierno inaugura casa materna en comunidad El Hormiguero, Siuna

Mujeres de 25 comunidades aledañas al sector del Hormiguero recibirán una atención de calidad en la casa materna que fue rehabilitada por el Gobierno de Nicaragua y la cooperación de China Taiwán, en Siuna, Caribe Norte.

Neris Rocha Chavarría, una de las protagonistas de la casa materna llegó de una comunidad muy lejana para esperar el día que debe dar a luz de una forma segura en la casa materna del Hormiguero.

“Primeramente gracias a Dios porque por medio de nuestro Gobierno nos permite estar en una casa segura, por nuestra salud y la de nuestro hijo. Llevo 12 días de estar en esta casa recibiendo atención”, afirmó Chavarría.

El doctor Enrique Beteta, viceministro del Ministerio de Salud de Nicaragua, dijo que estas mejoras se han realizado gracias a apoyo del Gobierno de China Taiwán;  donde se ha logrado mejorar las condiciones de la casa materna para que puedan permanecer en ella mujeres que llegan desde ocho horas de camino para dar a luz a sus hijos.

El consejero de la embajada de China Taiwán en Nicaragua Iván Lo, dijo que para ellos la casa materna es el mejor lugar para la mujer embarazada de Nicaragua y con esa meta es que han estado trabajando y colaborando con el Ministerio de Salud en la ejecución del proyecto. 

El alcalde de Siuna mencionó que se está inaugurando la remodelación de la casa materna y por ello la comunidad se ha reunido para celebrar estas victorias que envía el Gobierno de Nicaragua.

José Luis Solórzano, delegado presidencial del Triángulo Minero, Prinzapolka, Mulukukú y Paiwas, dio que hoy se está entregando la casa materna con el apoyo solidario del pueblo y Gobierno de China Taiwán. En esta casa mujeres se atienden a mujeres de 25 comunidades y aproximadamente unas 4 mil familias.  

Francisco Diaz, líder comunitario de la comunidad del Hormiguero, dijo que agradece al Gobierno de Nicaragua por llevar el beneficio de la Revolución Sandinista a las comunidades más alejadas del país. 

La casa materna fue rehabilitada en su totalidad, con pintura, se mejoraron las condiciones de las habitaciones donde duermen las mujeres y la cocina, para asegurar que la permanencia de estas mujeres sea agradable para ellas y puedan dar a luz a sus hijos para luego retornar a sus comunidades sanas y salvas con sus hijo o hijas.

Women from 25 communities surrounding the Hormiguero sector will receive quality care in the maternal home that was rehabilitated by the Government of Nicaragua and the cooperation of China Taiwan, in Siuna, North Caribbean Coast.

Neris Rocha Chavarría, one of the protagonists of the maternal home came from a very distant community to wait for the day that she must give birth safely in the maternal home of El Hormiguero.

“First of all, thank God because through our Government he allows us to be in a safe house, for our health and that of our son. I have been in this house for 12 days receiving care, ”said Chavarría.

Dr. Enrique Beteta, vice minister of the Nicaraguan Ministry of Health, said that these improvements have been made thanks to the support of the Government of China Taiwan; where it has been possible to improve the conditions of the mother’s home so that women who arrive eight hours away to give birth to their children can stay there.

The counselor of the Chinese Taiwan embassy in Nicaragua Iván Lo, said that for them the maternal home is the best place for pregnant Nicaraguan women and with that goal is that they have been working and collaborating with the Ministry of Health in the execution of the draft.

Francisco Diaz, community leader of the community of El Hormiguero, said that he thanks the Government of Nicaragua for bringing the benefit of the Sandinista Revolution to the most remote communities of the country.

The mother’s house was completely rehabilitated, with painting, the conditions of the rooms where the women sleep and the kitchen were improved, to ensure that the stay of these women is pleasant for them and they can give birth to their children and then return. to their communities safe and sound with their sons or daughters.
