Duque Hébert llego a las pequeñas ligas que dirigió el doctor Wilfredo Cunningham en Bilwi

Con la ilusión cargada el niño de punta fría en Bilwi de nueve años, fue llevado por su mama a las ligas menores y el doctor Wilfredo Cunningham (q.e.p.d.) no se negó y acepto al pequeño que comenzado a entrenar, fue selección de Puerto Cabezas en las ligas menores por varios años, así lo describió su tía Barbara Minerva Mairena Ismael desde la ciudad de Bilwi en el Caribe Norte.

Su mama Nery Ivania Robinson Ismael después de separarse con el papa del niño tuvo que viajar a Panamá para trabajar y mantener a su dos hijos Duque y Jesop Hebert Ismael que quedaron al cuidado de su abuena Minerva Ismael.

Ivania Robinson, la mama del Duke nos dijo que se siente muy orgullosa de su hijo y “además quiero decir que desde pequeño le gustaba el beisbol y yo siempre lo he apoyado, aunque estoy lejos siempre lo he apoyado” afirma Ivania.

“Primeramente, le doy gracias a Dios a mi mama y los tíos Barbara su tía, no tengo palabras para expresa esta emisión que siento, ayer yo no pude ver el juego porque a esa hora estaba trabajando, pero cuando me dijo mi hermana, pero después lo vi y de tanta emisión hasta lloré de alegría” comento la mama del lanzador de Nicaragua en el Clásico Mundial de Beisbol.

Ivania recuerda que llevo a entrenar a su sobrino Nacer y sus dos hijos Jesot y Duque y los pusieron a hacer ejercicios y al ver al Duque el Dr. Wilfredo Cunningham (q.e.p.d. ) le dijo a su mama “él va a llegar muy lejos, yo solo me sonreí y le dije que ustedes dicen eso así será con la ayuda del señor Jesucristo” afirmo la mama.

Minerva Ismael Plusni es la abuena del Duke Heberth quien se encargó de criarlos ya que la mama se fue a trabajar a Panamá, al conversar con Sistema de Noticias del Caribe, doña Minerva nos comenzó que esta muy feliz y contenta por que su nieto ha logrado su sueño ya que desde niño le gusto el beisbol.

Barbara Minerva Mairena su tia dijo a SNC que a los catorce años se fue sin permiso de su abuela y se fue de la casa por una semana para jugar en la liga indígena y campesina donde comienza a ser sus primeras actuaciones en el beisbol, luego fue llamado por Davis Hodgson para ingresar al equipo Costa Caribe a los 17 años.

Al desaparecer la Costa Caribe Duque pasa a formar parte de los Pescadores del Caribe, el año pasado fue llamado Omar Cisneros para integrar el equipo de la liga profesional tren del Norte.

Para su tía Barbara Minerva, el Duque es un chavalo disciplinado, entregado a ese deporte, ama ese deporte gane o pierda nunca pierde esa sonrisa, es un buen sobrino, buen hijo.

El lanzador de la selección de Nicaragua Duke Hebert antes de lanzar con nicaragua habló con su abuela y le pidió su bendición además que recen por el  y ayer después del juego les dijo que lo habían escauteado y que es un proceso que hay que hacer.

“No solo los tigres de Detroit están detrás de su firma son cuatro equipos de grandes ligas, pero la firma será en Nicaragua una vez que se concrete” afirmo la tia de Hebert.

Por su parte Minerva Ismael, dijo que está muy alegre y más que eso, desde chiquito me ha costado desde que el entro al beisbol no comía bien, pero siempre estuvo corriendo para lograr sus objetivos, Dios le ha ayudado, afirmo su abuela.

Ivania Robinson, Duke’s mother told us that she is very proud of her son and «I also want to say that since he was little he liked baseball and I have always supported him, although I am far away I have always supported him,» says Ivania.

«First of all, I thank God for my mother and Barbara, her aunt, I have no words to express this emission that I feel, yesterday I could not see the game because at that time I was working, but when my sister told me, but then I saw it and from so much broadcast I even cried with joy” commented the mother of the Nicaraguan pitcher in the World Baseball Classic.

Ivania remembers that she took her nephew Nacer and her two sons Jesot and Duque to train and they made them do exercises and when Dr. Wilfredo Cunningham (q.e.p.d.) saw the Duke, he told his mother “he is going to go a long way, I I just smiled and told him that you say that it will be like that with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ” affirmed the mother.

Minerva Ismael Plusni is the grandmother of Duke Heberth who was in charge of raising them since the mother went to work in Panama, when talking with the Caribbean News System, Mrs. Minerva told us that she is very happy and content because her grandson has achieved his dream since since he was a child he liked baseball.

Barbara Minerva Mairena, her aunt told SNC that at the age of fourteen she left without her grandmother’s permission and left home for a week to play in the indigenous and peasant league where her first baseball performances began, then she was Called up by Davis Hodgson to join the Costa Caribe team at age 17.

When the Caribbean Coast disappeared, Duque became part of the Pescadores del Caribe. Last year Omar Cisneros was called to join the Northern Train professional league team.

For his aunt Barbara Minerva, the Duke is a disciplined boy, dedicated to that sport, he loves that sport, win or lose, he never loses that smile, he is a good nephew, a good son.

The pitcher for the Nicaraguan team, Duke Hebert, before pitching with Nicaragua, spoke with his grandmother and asked for her blessing, also to pray for him, and yesterday after the game he told them that they had scouted him and that it is a process that must be done.

«Not only are the Detroit Tigers behind his signing, there are four major league teams, but the signing will be in Nicaragua once it is completed,» said Hebert’s aunt.

For her part, Minerva Ismael said that she is very happy and more than that, since I was little it has been hard for me since he entered baseball and did not eat well, but he was always running to achieve his goals, God has helped him, his grandmother affirmed.
