Derecho canónico establece tres meses para ordenación y toma de posesión de nuevo obispo

Aunque no se tiene una fecha clara de la ordenación y toma de posesión para el nuevo obispo de le Diócesis de Siuna, electo por el papa Fráncico, monseñor Isidoro Mora Ortega, el derecho canónico establece que son tres meses, así lo dio a conocer el padre Jifer Thompson, vicario de la parroquia de Siuna durante la homilía dominical.

El religioso señalo que están recibiendo muchas llamadas preguntando cuando viene el nuevo obispo, pero les ha respondido que no se tiene una fecha concreta pero que después de la elección normalmente se hace tres meses después.

“Eso no implica que el obispo de la Diócesis de Siuna, pueda venir cuando el así lo disponga porque ya es su territorio” afirmó el padre Jifer.

Es muy triste pero también estoy muy alegre porque he sido administrador apostólico desde el fallecimiento del monseñor David Zuwiec, y ya por fin la gente ha estado esperando tanto tiempo, pero ya ha sido nombrado un obispo, un sacerdote nicaragüense.

Monseñor Pablo dijo que el Nuncio le presento al nuevo Obispo y se saludaron y hablaron él le hizo muchas preguntas y también le dio consejos almorzaron juntos y acordaron seguirse reuniendo para saber cómo está la Iglesia.

Monseñor Pablo dijo que el obispo electo Isidoro Mora ha mostrado un interés de conocer la Iglesia de la Costa Caribe y le explico que el vicariato de Bluefields fue dirigido por los capuchinos en su mayoría norteamericanos entonces su historia eclesiástica ha sido diferentes.

Monseñor Pablo explico que ser obispo de Siuna significa que no solo atiende el Triángulo Minero sino la moskitia, y tiene más de 40 mil kilómetros cuadrados.

Quiero expresar mi agradecimiento a la Diócesis de Matagalpa y especialmente al monseñor Rolando Álvarez, por compartir no solo sus sacerdotes en total cuatro que son de la Diócesis de Matagalpa y están en Waslala y el Naranjo.

El administrador Apostólico de la Diócesis de Siuna, le dijo el nuevo obispo que no tiene que ser como monseñor David, usted tiene que ser como Isidoro del Carmen Mora, también le dijo que políticamente está dividido como en gran parte del país, pero en la Costa por el aislamiento y para proteger la gente sencilla hemos guardado unas relaciones cordiales, trabajando, pero no vendiendo los principios cristianos.

Para Monseñor Pablo, Monseñor Isidoro es la persona indicada, cuando salió su nombre, los sacerdotes y la feligresía católica está contenta con el santo padre Francisco por haber nombrado al monseñor Isidro del Carmen Mora Ortega como el segundo Obispo de la Diócesis de Siuna.
