Un total de 700 metros de calles de macadán fueron construidos por el Gobierno Municipal de Siuna, en alianzas con la comunidad, así lo dió a conocer el Comisionado Mayor en retiro Otilio Duarte Herrera alcalde de Siuna, Costa Caribe Norte.

Con una inversión superior a los 270 mil córdobas que incluyen el aporte comunitario de los barrios Jorge Navarro y Olivero de Siuna, las autoridades locales realizaron la inauguración del proyecto.

Adán Obregón uno de los protagonistas del proyecto dijo que para ellos es una gran alegría tener las carreteras porque eso les permite un mejor desarrollo y pueden atender mejor a sus familias.

“Sobre todo con los enfermos que ahora no tenemos que cargarlos hasta la salida para encontrar un taxi, sino que ahora entran los taxis y camiones hasta el barrio y eso es lo más importante” comentó Obregón.

El Dr. Noel Espinoza, secretario político municipal del FSLN, dijo que estos lugares que están en la periferia, para el gobierno esto es parte del área urbana de la ciudad y estos programas del buen gobierno es para el bien común, con electrificación, agua y ahora la carretera.

Otilio Duarte alcalde de Siuna dijo que estos barrios de Siuna van en desarrollo, y los sueños en todos Siuna se están cumpliendo, los sueños de Sandino, los Héroes y Martiries, se están cumpliendo porque esto es un tema de compromiso de voluntad y es un tema de recursos.

Recordó al Comisionado General Olivio Salguera, fundador de la Policía Nacional que fallecio y por eso hay que pedirle a Dios que nos proteja, que nos de fortaleza para enfrentar la pandemía a nivel mundial.

En total se construyeron 700 metros de carretera y aquí se invirtieron en total de 90 mil por la comunidad y 180 mil córdobas la comuna, que juntos suman 280 mil córdobas, dijo el alcalde de Siuna, Otilio Duarte.

AVANCES

En dos años y cuatro meses el Gobierno Municipal ha construido 40 kilómetros de caminos en zonas productivas y rurales, 208 kilómetros de caminos han sido reparados, con una inversión suprior a los 80 millones de córdobas.

REDUCCION

El Gobierno municipal de Siuna ha sido objetivo de una reducción presupuestaria que cayó de 79 millones a 20 millones de córdobas, pero eso no ha sido motivo para detener el avance de los proyectos y el desarrollo en Siuna.
