Avanzan negociaciones para trilogía entre ‘Gallo’ y ‘Chocolatito’

La esperada tercera batalla entre el mexicano Juan Francisco ‘Gallo’ Estrada y el nicaragüense Román ‘Chocolatito’ González podría llegar en septiembre u octubre, según reveló el promotor británico Eddie Hearn, mandamás de Matchroom Boxing, a ESPN KNOCKOUT durante la semana de pelea de Canelo Álvarez y Billy Joe Saunders en territorio texano.

Estrada y ‘Chocolatito’ electrizaron a la fanaticada apenas en marzo pasado en tremendo pleito que incluyó más de 2,500 golpes, en una revancha que ganó de manera ajustada el púgil mexicano, ahora campeón Supermosca de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo y Consejo Mundial de Boxeo.

“Estoy hablando con el equipo de ‘Gallo’, estamos hablando también con el equipo de ‘Chocolatito’, la segunda ha sido por mucho la segunda mejor pelea que haya yo visto en vivo, así que estamos contentos por la posibilidad de que se enfrenten una tercera vez, y estamos buscando que sea en la costa oeste, con más gente esta vez, y para el mes de septiembre u octubre”, dijo Hearn.

El promotor británico compartió además que esperan tener pronto un anuncio también para la primera mitad de agosto entre Tyson Fury y Anthony Joshua. Tyson estará este fin de semana en territorio texano para apoyar a Billy Joe Saunders, y ahí esperan terminar con los últimos detalles para la esperada batalla de los pesos Pesados.

Acerca del tema del ring para Canelo y Saunders, dijo Eddie que sin duda fue algo a tratar, pero que no habrá cancelación ni mucho menos como trascendió, y que siguen trabajando en ello. Apuntó que Saunders es, sin duda, la pelea más difícil que pudiera tener el mexicano en la actualidad y se dijo más que contento por la oportunidad de sumar a casi 70 mil fanáticos el sábado para el fin de semana del cinco de mayo.
