Los mitos y leyendas recuerdan a la bruja y el gallo que anuncia una beta de oro en Siuna

El festival de mitos y leyendas realizado en el día internacional de los trabajadores en Siuna, además del intercambio cultural entre el caribe y Masaya, recordó a la bruja que salía en la salida a Waslala y que hasta la fecha se conoce ese lugar como la bruja en Siuna, el gallo que cantaba anunciando que los mineros encontrarían una beta de oro en Siuna, son parte de los mitos y leyendas de la ciudad de Siuna que se recordaron en ocasión del festival realizado por el Instituto Nicaragüense de Turismo y las autoridades municipales de Siuna.

El maestro Joel Montenegro, de URACCAN Las Minas, dijo que la universidad llevo una replica de la torre donde bajaban los mineros en el pozo principal pero además llevaban un gallo, que dentro de los mitos y leyendas que contaban los mineros de aquella época dorada de Siuna, cuando cantaba un gallo era el anuncio que una beta de oro estaba cerca.

Por su parte Mercedes Gatica Salazar, hija dilecta de Siuna y promotora cultural, dijo que hay tantos mitos de Siuna y los que aun se mantiene es que la llorona que sigue saliendo en le cementerio de Siuna, recordó a la mona que se paseaba de casa en casa, la chancha negra, y la bruja que salía en la salida a Waslala.

Los visitantes de Masaya llevaron el toro venado del malinche, la carreta nawa, la llorona entre otros mitos y leyenda de la ciudad de las flores en un intercambio cultural que rescata los mitos y las leyendas de los pueblos.

María Fátima Marín Navarro, nieta de Carmen Toribio de Masaya, dijo que este es un intercambio cultural que impulsa el Gobierno Sandinista en todo Nicaragua, estuvieron en Bilwi y ahora en Siuna, con una mínima representación del toro venado del malinche, de la llorona, de la mokuana, de la carreta nawa, pero ha sido exitoso pues es un intercambio entre el Caribe y Masaya.

Guillermo Antonio Ríos Palacios, delegado INTUR dijo que es la primera vez que se realiza este intercambio cultural en Siuna y ha sido exitoso las familias salieron a disfrutar y luego terminaron con una fiesta popular con los cinco del caribe un grupo musical de Siuna.
