Un total de unas mil 147 viviendas anegadas, 1147 letrinas rebalsadas, 695 pozos inundados es el informe que presento la comisión de evaluación y análisis de daños, EDAN del COMUPRED de Puerto Cabezas en la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.

El informe fue presentado luego que el Coordinador del Gobierno Carlos Alemán Cuningham, el alcalde de Puerto cabezas Henry Herman Hernández y el secretario Político departamental del FSLN en Bilwi Yamil Zapata Webb realizaron un recorrido por las zonas más afectadas con las lluvias que dejo a su paso la onda tropical número siete.

El COREPRED en su tercer reporte señala que fueron afectados un total de 14 barrios de Puerto Cabezas donde hay una vivienda en riesgo de caerse.

Los barrios afectados son; Waulalaya, Reten Galilea, Caminantes sector poza azul, Nueva Jerusalén (sector 1,3 y 4), Los Ángeles, Thelma Morales, San Judas, Filemón Rivera, Alemán, Loma verde (sector 7), San Luis, Jacobo Francis, Muelle y Punta Fría.

En el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias CODE del COREPRED a cargo de la doctora Ivania López, se decidió que la sub comisión de agua y saneamiento trabajara una propuesta atención a la familia afectada con el fin de garantizar agua potable en los barrios afectados, así como los requerimientos para asegurar dicha distribución de agua.

La comisión de educación e información/albergue trabajara en la programación de dar a conocer la capacidad que tiene los albergues según la zona en riesgo y condiciones de las mismas.

Las autoridades también acordaron que se procederá al achicamiento y cloración de los pozos afectados dependiendo de la condición del clima, esta actividad se realizará de manera conjunta MINSA, UMGIR, Comisión de agua.

Todos los miembros del COMUPRED estarán en plena disposición para atender cualquier eventualidad climatológica.
