Pese a sus más de 20 años retirada de las aulas de clases, la profesora Eladía López Rivas de 82 años, es recordada por muchos de sus alumnos que formó desde la primaria y otros en la secundaría del desaparecido instituto Juan Francisco Onsang, hoy Róger López Borge.

Su paso por las aulas durante 38 años le marcó la vida, el bullicio de sus estudiantes y la convivencia con ellos es lo que más añoró en los primeros años de su jubilación.

La carrera docente de esta veterana profesora data desde 1960 con la asignatura de actividades prácticas la cual era su pasión ya que es amante al arte.

 “Soy una docente que cuando emprendí mi carrera en 1960 lo hice con el amor y el entusiasmo más grande que podía largar mi corazón y mi alma, como habrá muchas, pero en mi caso el entusiasmo era porque la asignatura se trataba de Actividades Prácticas me encanta todo lo que es arte, además impartía la asignatura de Alimentación y Nutrición”, recordó.

Sus primeros años como docente los inició en el desaparecido Colegio Mixto y después en el Maura Clarke, luego fue trasladada a la secundaria del instituto Juan Francisco OnSang.

Docencia cambió su vida

“La docencia me hizo hacer un giro de 360 grados, y pasó a ser muy importante donde me quedaron cosas muy grabadas una de ellas los “valores”, si bien uno sabe de valores por lo que te enseñan tus padres y la escuela”, destaca.

“Me jubile (1998), pero mi experiencia frente a alumnos fue muy bonita, le doy gracias a Dios, por haberme permitido ejercer esta enorme labor, conocí a muchas personas e hice muchas amistades, en mi clase salíamos de día de campo con los alumnos y eran muy alegres, me llevaba bien con todos mis compañeros de trabajo que al igual que yo ejercieron esta loable labor” recordó la maestra.

A pesar de los inconvenientes de la profesión la maestra refirió que cuando el trabajo se realiza con pasión y amor dentro de un aula y se empieza a dar clase todo se vuelve interesante por la convivencia que hay entre alumnos y maestros.

“Favorecer el diálogo, la escucha, las dudas de algunos ayudan a crear hipótesis, enriqueciendo los diálogos por relatos que abordan a discusiones sencillas pero aclaratorias” enfatizó la maestra.

Señaló que “todo se transforma en placer cuando la clase comienza, estoy convencida que la educación es un espacio de intercambio entre docente y alumno, con la finalidad de construir saberes desde los que ya poseen”.

A criterio de la profesora el trabajo del docente no es solo en el aula de clase, sino también en casa, porque tienen que planear con anterioridad la clase que van a impartir al día siguiente.

Outstanding teacher spent 38 years teaching in classes

His passage through the classrooms for 38 years marked his life, the bustle of his students and the coexistence with them is what he longed for most in the first years of his retirement.

The teaching career of this veteran teacher dates back to 1960 with the subject of practical activities which was her passion since she is an art lover.

 “I am a teacher who when I started my career in 1960 I did it with the greatest love and enthusiasm that could leave my heart and soul, as there will be many, but in my case the enthusiasm was because the subject was about Practical Activities. she loves everything that is art, she also taught Food and Nutrition ”, she recalled.

Her first years as a teacher began in the disappeared Mixed School and later in the Maura Clarke, then she was transferred to the secondary school of the Juan Francisco OnSang institute.

Teaching changed his life

«Teaching made me do a 360 degree turn, and it became very important where I had very engraved things, one of them the» values ​​», although one knows values ​​for what your parents and the school teach you», stands out.

“I retired (1998), but my experience in front of students was very nice, I thank God for allowing me to carry out this enormous task, I met many people and made many friends, in my class we went out for a picnic with the students and they were very happy, I got along well with all my coworkers who, like me, did this commendable job, ”recalled the teacher.

Despite the disadvantages of the profession, the teacher said that when the work is done with passion and love in a classroom and you start teaching, everything becomes interesting because of the coexistence between students and teachers.

«Favoring dialogue, listening, the doubts of some help to create hypotheses, enriching the dialogues by stories that address simple but explanatory discussions» emphasized the teacher.

She pointed out that «everything transforms into pleasure when the class begins, I am convinced that education is a space for exchange between teacher and student, with the aim of building knowledge from what they already possess.»

In the teacher’s opinion, the teacher’s work is not only in the classroom, but also at home, because they have to plan in advance the class they are going to teach the next day.
