Productores de Siuna se capacitan para realizar ensilaje de pastos y alimento balanceado para ganado

Un total de 16 productore3s de las comunidades de Santa Fe, San José Hormiguero, Danly Central y Rosa Grande, fueron capacitados por los técnicos del Instituto Nicaragüense de Tecnología Agropecuaria, en la elaboración de ensilaje de pastos para el ganado en épocas secas, en el municipio de Siuna en el Triángulo Minero.

Lo anterior fue explicado por Julio Miranda Gutiérrez, delegado departamental del INTA en la finca del producto Ramiro Roque Cantillano, donde se hizo la capacitación a los productores, donde se utilizo una cortadora de pastos, que sirvió para el proceso de triturar el pasto que luego fue ensilado por los productores.

Miranda Gutiérrez dijo que se esta compartiendo con los productores las experiencias exitosas, como el pasto del OM22 para alimentación del ganado y se les enseño a los productores a hacer un silo tipo bolsa para conservar pastos y se pueda alimentar al ganado en tempos de sequía.

El productor instructor Ramiro Roque Cantillano, dueño de la finca donde se dio el proceso de capacitación a los productores, dijo que desde el INTA desde hace cinco años vienen recibiendo proceso de capacitación y ahora está compartiendo esos conocimientos con los demás productores para que ellos puedan aplicar esto conocimientos en sus parcelas con su ganado.

Por su parte Leonor López Martínez, productora de la comunidad de San José Hormiguero, le dio gracias al Gobierno por que se preocupa por llevar estos conocimientos realizando la teoría con la practicas que les permitirá mejorar las condiciones de su finca con estos nuevos conocimientos que adquirieron en el tema de alimentación del ganado.

Así mismo Salvador Francisco Centeno, productor Comunidad Rosa Grande, dijo que con este aprendizaje va a iniciar este año con la siembra de una manzana en su propiedad para poder hacer lo mismo con el alimento de su ganado. Pero lo que mas le ha gustado dijo que el pasto se puede ensilar para alimentar al ganado en tiempos de sequía.

 En tanto Rigoberto Sánchez García, de la comunidad de Danly, dijo que esto les hacia falta para tener esos conocimientos que les permite tener un mejor futuro por los beneficios que les da este tipo de alimentos al ganado.  

Los productores después de realizar el ensilaje del pasto, vieron que el productor utilizando el pasto y la caña de azúcar alimento a su ganado, el cual les da proteínas a sus animales.

Siuna producers are trained to make pasture silage and balanced feed for cattle

A total of 16 producers from the communities of Santa Fe, San José Hormiguero, Danly Central and Rosa Grande, were trained by technicians from the Nicaraguan Institute of Agricultural Technology, in the preparation of pasture silage for cattle in dry seasons, in the municipality of Siuna in the Mining Triangle.

The foregoing was explained by Julio Miranda Gutiérrez, departmental delegate of INTA at the Ramiro Roque Cantillano product farm, where the training was given to the producers, where a grass cutter was used, which was used for the process of shredding the grass that was later was ensiled by the producers.

Miranda Gutiérrez said that successful experiences are being shared with producers, such as the OM22 grass for cattle feed and producers were taught how to make a bag-type silo to conserve grass and feed cattle in times of drought.

The producer instructor Ramiro Roque Cantillano, owner of the farm where the training process was given to the producers, said that INTA has been receiving the training process for five years and is now sharing that knowledge with the other producers so that they can apply this knowledge in their plots with their cattle.

For her part, Leonor López Martínez, producer of the community of San José Hormiguero, thanked the Government for taking care to bring this knowledge, carrying out the theory with the practices that will allow them to improve the conditions of their farm with this new knowledge they acquired. on the subject of cattle feeding.

Likewise, Salvador Francisco Centeno, producer of the Rosa Grande Community, said that with this learning he will start this year with the planting of an apple on his property to be able to do the same with the feed for his cattle. But what he liked the most was that the grass can be ensiled to feed cattle in times of drought.

 Meanwhile, Rigoberto Sánchez García, from the Danly community, said that they needed this to have the knowledge that allows them to have a better future due to the benefits that this type of food gives to livestock.

The producers, after carrying out the silage of the grass, saw that the producer, using the grass and the sugar cane, fed his cattle, which gives his animals protein.
