Gobierno enfocado en planes de protección por alerta de tormenta tropical

La Vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo, informó este martes que el Gobierno en conjunto con diferentes instituciones, trabajan en planes de protección ante la formación de una tormenta tropical que podría convertirse en huracán e ingresar al país en los próximos días.

“Desde el día domingo estamos trabajando para la protección de todos frente al anuncio que empezó a conocerse viernes, sábado, domingo de un nuevo fenómeno que puede ser destructivo en nuestra Costa Caribe, todavía no hay definición del punto donde podría tocar tierra, las distintas páginas y centros de monitoreo internacional definen ya como una tormenta tropical, pero se cree va a desarrollar a huracán, probablemente según esos modelos categoría uno o dos y ese punto donde podría tocar tierra no está claro, podría ser desde Bluefields hasta Bilwi, en cualquier espacio de nuestro litoral Caribe Norte o Sur”, explicó.

“Como conocemos estos fenómenos y sabemos que no se definen fácilmente lo que nos corresponde es estar observando y en vigilancia permanente, hoy estaba a 420 kilómetros de Trinidad y Tobago, hacia el este, con vientos máximos de 65 kilómetros por hora. Ayer tuvimos un encuentro largo con las comunidades , las familias, las autoridades, los COMUPRED en todo el litoral Atlántico fortaleciendo los planes de trabajo, la capacidad que debemos tener de cumplir con todo lo estipulado en esos planes que son de protección de la vida”, detalló.

Murillo informó que a partir de hoy se está convocando para que el Presidente Comandante Daniel Ortega, reciba planes actualizados de diferentes instituciones del Estado.

“Instituciones que debemos participar en el primer momento, el Minsa, la coordinación nacional desde la Presidencia de la República, el Sinapred, los organismos de la Defensa Civil, Ejército de Nicaragua; Bomberos, Migob; Policía Nacional, la Secretaría de la Costa Caribe, todos los organismos que vamos a participar coordinados con nuestro Comandante Daniel, en cada momento, cada etapa, en el primer momento de atención y en las respuestas. Estamos convocándonos a entregarle a nuestro Presidente hoy por la tarde desde la Secretaría de la Costa Caribe, el Comandante Lumberto Campbell, compañero Iván Acosta, Ministro de Hacienda, el Ejército de Nicaragua, Policía Nacional, el MTI, Mined, Inatec, Ministerio de la Familia que tiene que ver con la organización de los albergues y la atención, Enacal, Enatrel, Telcor, EPN, Inifom que tiene que ver con la capacidad y el deber de asegurar las respuestas pertinentes según el momento, Ineter y Enabas”, dijo.

De igual manera, Rosario señaló que el día miércoles se realizará una convocatoria con organismos internacionales para explicar en qué consiste el trabajo preventivo referente a este fenómeno natural.

“Lo que corresponde es estar activados, vigilantes, aplicando esa experiencia, ese conocimiento y las nuevas prácticas que hemos venido incorporando sobre todo en la movilización de las familias a lugares seguros que tiene que estar también establecidos y funcionando. Vamos a estar pendientes, informando y vamos a estar trabajando para garantizar la protección indispensable de la vida a las familias”, subrayó la dirigente.

“As we know these phenomena and we know that they are not easily defined, what corresponds to us is to be observing and in permanent vigilance, today it was 420 kilometers from Trinidad and Tobago, to the east, with maximum winds of 65 kilometers per hour. Yesterday we had a long meeting with the communities, the families, the authorities, the COMUPRED throughout the Atlantic coast, strengthening the work plans, the capacity that we must have to comply with everything stipulated in those plans that are for the protection of life” , he detailed.

Murillo reported that starting today calls are being made for President Commander Daniel Ortega to receive updated plans from different State institutions.

“Institutions that we must participate from the first moment, the Minsa, the national coordination from the Presidency of the Republic, the Sinapred, the Civil Defense agencies, the Nicaraguan Army; Firefighters, Migob; National Police, the Secretariat of the Caribbean Coast, all the agencies that are going to participate coordinated with our Commander Daniel, at every moment, every stage, at the first moment of attention and in the responses. We are summoning ourselves to hand over our President this afternoon from the Secretariat of the Caribbean Coast, Commander Lumberto Campbell, partner Iván Acosta, Minister of Finance, the Nicaraguan Army, the National Police, the MTI, Mined, Inatec, the Ministry of Family that has to do with the organization of shelters and care, Enacal, Enatrel, Telcor, EPN, Inifom that has to do with the capacity and duty to ensure the pertinent responses according to the moment, Ineter and Enabas”, he said.

In the same way, Rosario pointed out that on Wednesday there will be a call with international organizations to explain what the preventive work regarding this natural phenomenon consists of.

“What corresponds is to be activated, vigilant, applying that experience, that knowledge and the new practices that we have been incorporating, especially in the mobilization of families to safe places that must also be established and functioning. We are going to be attentive, informing and we are going to be working to guarantee the essential protection of life for families”, stressed the leader.
