Los Dantos y Tigres de Chinandega se colocaron a 1 victoria de avanzar a las semifinales del Campeonato German Pomares 2020 tras sus victorias este lunes sobre Nueva Segovia y Costa Caribe respectivamente.

Los Dantos han hecho valer su papel de amplio favorito sobre Nueva Segovia al que derrotaron en horas de la tarde 9×3 en el Estadio Glorias del Béisbol Segoviano de la ciudad de Ocotal con labor dominante del derecho Jorge Bucardo.

Los Dantos se pusieron en ventaja desde el primer episodio en el que produjeron su primera rayita con infield hit de Leonardo Ortiz que empujó desde tercera a Benjamín Alegría. En el alta del tercero cuadrangular de Alegría con 1 a bordo incrementó la ventaja a 3×0.

Ronald Garth en el cuarto con cuadrangular empujaría la cuarta de los capitalinos. En el quinto imparable de Ortiz remolcaría desde la intermedia a Alegría con la quinta anotación. La primera de los locales se produjo en el cierre del séptimo en jugada de escogencia.

Los Dantos volverían al ataque en el noveno con racimo de 4 anotaciones coronado por cuadrangular con 2 en base de Ronald Garth para colocar el score 9×1. Los segovianos en el cierre del noveno maquillaron el resultado con vuelacercas de Justo Rivas que puso el score final 9×3. Ganó Jorge Bucardo y cargó con la derrota Nelson León.

El tercer juego de la serie se disputará el miércoles a las 6 de la tarde en el Estadio Nacional.

SEGUNDO ZARPASO DE LOS TIGRES

Pese a un largo receso por interrupción a causa de la lluvia, el derecho Walter López lució gigante para los bates de la Costa Caribe que nuevamente fueron silenciados por la serpentina occidental que se agenció la victoria 5×1.

Tras la reanudación con Sanchez corriendo en segunda, wild pitch consecutivos le permitieron a los Tigres producir la cuarta carrera.

Los costeños descontaron el cierre del sexto con cuadrangular solitario de Gean Rigby. Imparable de Norlando Valle y doble productor de Emmanuel Meza en el séptimo produjeron la quinta y última de los Tigres. Walter López fue el pitcher ganador mientras que Fidencio Flores fue el derrotado. El tercero de la serie se disputará este miércoles a las 6 de la tarde en Chinandega.

ESTELÍ A LEY DE UNO

El equipo de Estelí recibirá hoy martes a las 2 de la tarde en el Rufo Marín a los Toros de Chontales. Estelí se encuentra en ventaja en la serie 2-0 tras haber derrotado en 13 episodios y con más de 5 horas de juegos a los Toros 15-14.

Por su parte los Indios del Bóer reciben a Matagalpa en el Estadio Nacional a las 6 de la tarde. La serie se encuentra empata a 1 victoria por bando.

Dantos, Tigres and Estelí to a victory in the semifinals of pomares 2020
