INETER pronostica más lluvias en el país
El Instituto Nicaragüense de Estudios Territoriales (INETER) informó este lunes que en el país continuarán registrándose lluvias dispersas debido a la influencia de zonas de baja presión y por el ingreso de ondas tropicales.
Marcio Baca, director de Meteorología del INETER, explicó que ayer domingo llovió en casi todo el territorio nacional, siendo los mayores acumulados 56 milímetros en el sector del Aeropuerto Internacional Augusto C. Sandino, en Managua.
Para esta semana el país continuará bajo igual pronóstico debido a las zonas de baja presión y a la llegada de una nueva onda tropical después de este jueves.
Respecto a las temperaturas, Baca precisó que continuará en el rango de los 35 a 36 grados en gran parte del territorio nacional, exceptuando las zonas altas de Nicaragua. En tanto, los mares estarán condición estable favoreciendo la navegación.
Tormenta Tropical Elsa
El director de Meteorología del INETER dijo que la Tormenta Tropical Elsa afecta en estos momentos a la isla de Cuba y en lo que resta del día se espera que este sistema atraviese la nación caribeña.
“Está enrumbándose hacia el norte, afectará todas las provincias del centro de Cuba y posteriormente se dirigirá hacia la península de la Florida donde estará afectando este fin de semana”, indicó el experto.

The Nicaraguan Institute for Territorial Studies (INETER) reported this Monday that scattered rains will continue to be recorded in the country due to the influence of low pressure areas and the entry of tropical waves.
Marcio Baca, Director of Meteorology at INETER, explained that yesterday it rained in almost the entire national territory, with the highest accumulated 56 millimeters in the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport sector, in Managua.
For this week the country will continue under the same forecast due to low pressure areas and the arrival of a new tropical wave after this Thursday.
Regarding temperatures, Baca specified that it will continue in the range of 35 to 36 degrees in much of the national territory, except for the high areas of Nicaragua. Meanwhile, the seas will be in stable condition favoring navigation.
Tropical Storm Elsa
The Director of Meteorology at INETER said that Tropical Storm Elsa is currently affecting the island of Cuba and for the remainder of the day this system is expected to cross the Caribbean nation.
«It is heading towards the north, it will affect all the provinces of central Cuba and later it will go to the Florida peninsula where it will be affecting this weekend,» said the expert.
