«El pueblo armado jamás será aplastado»

Nicaragua celebró este lunes el 42 aniversario del triunfo de la Revolución Popular Sandinista, con un acto inusual: en la Plaza de la Revolución en Managua, el Presidente Daniel Ortega y la Vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo, acompañado por unos 500 jóvenes y las principales autoridades del Estado, y en la mayor parte de los municipios del país, miles de sandinistas reunidos en parques y otros locales abiertos, conectados virtualmente con el evento principal.

Antes de entonar el Himno Naciona, el Presidente Ortega recibió la bandera nacional y la del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (FSLN). “Aquí está esta bandera que no tiene ni tendrá una estrella”, exclamó al tomar en sus manos la enseña azul y blanco, aludiendo a una de las frases de la canción «Soberanía», estrenada el pasado 23 de junio y que se ha convertido en un autético himno popular.

Unidos y armados

El líder sandinista expresó que el compromiso en este 42 aniversario es con los héroes y mártires que derramaron su sangre para alcanzar una Nicaragua libre. Por tal razón, dijo, el pueblo debe seguir luchando unido y armado para no ser aplastado por el imperio yanqui.

“Tenemos que seguir luchando con el pueblo unido. Porque el pueblo unido, ¡jamás será vencido! Y con el pueblo armado, ¡jamás será aplastado!”, manifestó.

En ese sentido, el líder nicaragüense recordó que el país cuenta con el Ejército de Nicaragua para resguardar la soberanía nacional y también para contribuir a la seguridad y a la lucha contra la delincuencia.

“Tenemos una Policía que está dedicada de lleno también a la lucha por la seguridad ciudadana. Por eso les digo: el pueblo unido jamás será vencido y el pueblo armado jamás será aplazado”, recalcó.

El acto se realizó con una ornamentación especial ubicada al centro de la Plaza en forma de redondel, con dos extrellas superpuestas adornadas con las siglas 42 elaboradas en rosas rojas y negras. Al oeste de la Plaza está ubicado el Mausoleo de los Héreos de la Patria Carlos Fonseca, Santos López y Tomás Borge.

El único invitado extranjero al acto fue el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de la República de Abjasia, Daur Kove, quien además tuvo una breve participación en el acto.

Sube 5% el salario mínimo

El Presidente Ortega aprovechó la ocasión para anunciar un incremento del 5% en el salario mínimo del país, a partir de agosto próximo, después de casi tres años que ha permanecido virtualmente congelado. Según explicó, esto es gracias al notable dinamismo de la economía que se expresa en un crecimiento del Producto Interno Bruto que probablemente sumará más dl 4% al finalizar 2021.

“Hoy en este 42/19 podemos anunciar con todo orgullo que gracias a este pueblo a partir del mes de agosto se pone en práctica un ajuste del presupuesto de un 5%. Esto incluye lógicamente un incremento que incluye los salarios básicos, antigüedad, otros devengados, aguinaldo, aportes patronales e Inatec. Vamos a finalizar este año y arrancar el próximo año con ese incremento. ¿De dónde sale eso?, de la disciplina, del control, del gasto en la recaudación, explicó el mandatario.

En este sentido, dijo que el aumento es posible gracias a la disciplina fiscal, al control del gasto y al incremento de la recaudación tributaria. “Y esto pone en evidencia a aquellos que han llamado a no trabajar. Porque ellos siguen trabajando y ganando dinero, y la prueba es que siguen pagando impuestos, aseguró.

También cuestionó el comportamiento egoísta de muchos empresarios, que no son solidarios con los más empobrecidos. Por esa razón, el Presidente Ortega los describió como “miserables” y citó un popular refrán nicaragüense de que “maldicen la vaca y se beben la leche”, en referencia a que todos ellos son beneficiados por las inversiones públicas y el excelente trabajo del Gobierno del FSLN.

“A pesar de que han querido destruir la economía y han asesinado, sembrado el terror, han puesto en práctica el terrorismo en Nicaragua; han lavado millones de millones de dólares en Nicaragua para sembrar el terrorismo, han fracasado. Y a pesar de la pandemia aquí en Nicaragua tenemos una tendencia en la economía a ser cada día más estables, ser cada día más fuertes”, apuntó.

“Ustedes (los nicaragüenses) lo ven en su barrio, en su municipio, en su departamento, ven cómo cada vez hay más caminos transitables; cómo se van capacitando más a los productores, cómo se dan instrumentos para que mejore la productividad en el campo”, agregó. También critió a quienes desde la oposición pro EEUU se “ofenden”, porque los organismos financieros internacionales reconocen el esfuerzo de Nicaragua y el buen manejo de la economía por parte del Gobierno Sandinista

“Saben que estamos hablando con la verdad. Saben que el camino pasa por su casa, saben que la luz llega a su comunidad, saben que el agua pasa por su comunidad. Todos ellos lo saben perfectamente bien”, añadió.

La hegemonía yanqui ha desaparecido

También aludió a la política de Estados Unidos hacia el mundo y en particular hacia Nicaragua. Según explicó, el imperialismo norteamericano no termina de entender que ya esa etapa cuando se rompió el equilibrio con la Unión Soviética y Estados Unidos, ha desaparecido.

Incluso, aseguró, esas fuerzas imperialistas quieren “apoderarse del universo; hasta ahí van sus planes, porque tienen bombas atómicas, porque tienen mucho dinero; no terminan de entender que ya esa etapa donde el imperialismo tuvo un periodo de hegemonía, cuando se rompió el equilibrio entre la Unión Soviética y Estados Unidos, que ese momento de hegemonía, que fueron segundos, eso desapareció. Ahora los pueblos en todo el mundo están luchando”.

Agregó que incluso, los pueblos de Estados Unidos y Europa, están luchando. “O sea que esos países que todavía sueñan con imponer políticas colonialistas, neocolonialistas en el mundo, simplemente están fuera de la realidad. El único camino es que entiendan de una vez por todas que cuando se creó el Universo, y dentro del Universo surgió la Tierra, no hubo Dios alguno que dijera: los yanquis van a ser los dueños del mundo”, afirmó el Presidente Ortega.

“Es por eso que esta es una lucha que tiene que ver con los intereses globales del imperio que quiere dominar todos los países. Quiere someter a las potencias, en lugar de entenderse con las potencias. Quiere someter a la Federación Rusa, quiere someter a la República Popular China, ¡están locos! Quieren someter a potencias y a naciones como Nicaragua que estamos en un punto estratégico y de ahí viene la persecución del yanqui sobre Nicaragua, porque aquí no hay más que un gigantesco recurso que es el canal por Nicaragua y ellos no quieren y nunca han querido que se construya, sino son ellos los dueños”.

Agregó que “la voluntad de Dios es la que expresa el pueblo y ningún pueblo quiere opresión. A pesar de los intentos del imperio por destruir nuestro país, aquí está Nicaragua de pie, firme y adelante”.

También aludió a los intentos de derrocar al FSLN. “A pesar de que han querido destruir la economía y han asesinado, sembrado el terror, han puesto en práctica el terrorismo en Nicaragua; han lavado millones de millones de dólares en Nicaragua para sembrar el terrorismo han fracasado. «The armed people will never be crushed»

The Sandinista leader expressed that the commitment on this 42nd anniversary is with the heroes and martyrs who shed their blood to achieve a free Nicaragua. For this reason, he said, the people must continue fighting united and armed so as not to be crushed by the Yankee empire.

“We have to continue fighting with the united people. Because the united people will never be defeated! And with the people armed, they will never be crushed! ”He declared.

In that sense, the Nicaraguan leader recalled that the country has the Nicaraguan Army to protect national sovereignty and also to contribute to security and the fight against crime.

“We have a Police that is also fully dedicated to the fight for citizen security. That is why I tell you: the united people will never be defeated and the armed people will never be postponed, ”he stressed.

The act was carried out with a special ornamentation located in the center of the Plaza in the shape of a circle, with two superimposed stars adorned with the initials 42 made in red and black roses. To the west of the Plaza is the Mausoleum of the Héreos de la Patria Carlos Fonseca, Santos López and Tomás Borge.

The only foreign guest at the event was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Daur Kove, who also had a brief participation in the event.

The minimum wage rises 5%

President Ortega took the opportunity to announce a 5% increase in the country’s minimum wage, starting next August, after almost three years that it has remained virtually frozen. As he explained, this is thanks to the remarkable dynamism of the economy that is expressed in a growth of the Gross Domestic Product that will probably add more than 4% by the end of 2021.

“Today in this 42/19 we can proudly announce that thanks to this town from the month of August a 5% budget adjustment is being implemented. This logically includes an increase that includes basic salaries, seniority, other accrued, Christmas bonus, employer contributions and Inatec. We are going to end this year and start next year with that increase. Where does that come from? From discipline, from control, from collection spending, the president explained.

In this sense, he said that the increase is possible thanks to fiscal discipline, spending control and increased tax collection. “And this highlights those who have called not to work. Because they continue to work and earn money, and the proof is that they continue to pay taxes, he assured.

He also questioned the selfish behavior of many entrepreneurs, who do not show solidarity with the most impoverished. For that reason, President Ortega described them as “miserable” and cited a popular Nicaraguan saying that “they curse the cow and drink the milk”, referring to the fact that all of them are benefited by public investments and the excellent work of the Government. of the FSLN.

“Even though they have wanted to destroy the economy and have killed, sowed terror, they have put terrorism into practice in Nicaragua; they have laundered millions of millions of dollars in Nicaragua to sow terrorism, they have failed. And despite the pandemic here in Nicaragua we have a tendency for the economy to be more stable every day, to be stronger every day ”, he pointed out.

“You (Nicaraguans) see it in your neighborhood, in your municipality, in your department, you see how there are more and more passable roads; how producers are being trained more, how instruments are given to improve productivity in the field ”, he added. He also criticized those from the pro-US opposition who are «offended» because international financial organizations recognize the efforts of Nicaragua and the good management of the economy by the Sandinista government.

“They know that we are speaking the truth. They know that the road passes through their house, they know that the light reaches their community, they know that the water passes through their community. They all know it perfectly well, ”he added.

Yankee hegemony has disappeared

He also alluded to United States policy towardsto the world and in particular to Nicaragua. As he explained, US imperialism does not quite understand that that stage, when the balance with the Soviet Union and the United States was broken, has already disappeared.

Even, he assured, those imperialist forces want to “take over the universe; that is where their plans go, because they have atomic bombs, because they have a lot of money; They do not quite understand that already that stage where imperialism had a period of hegemony, when the balance between the Soviet Union and the United States was broken, that that moment of hegemony, which were seconds, that disappeared. Now people around the world are fighting. «

He added that even the peoples of the United States and Europe are fighting. “In other words, those countries that still dream of imposing colonialist, neocolonialist policies on the world, are simply out of touch with reality. The only way is for them to understand once and for all that when the Universe was created, and within the Universe the Earth arose, there was no God who said: the Yankees are going to be the owners of the world, «said President Ortega.

“That is why this is a struggle that has to do with the global interests of the empire that wants to dominate all countries. He wants to subdue the powers, rather than deal with the powers. He wants to subdue the Russian Federation, he wants to subdue the People’s Republic of China, they are crazy! They want to subdue powers and nations like Nicaragua, who are at a strategic point and that’s where the Yankee’s persecution of Nicaragua comes from, because here there is only one gigantic resource that is the canal through Nicaragua and they do not want and have never wanted it to be build, if not they are the owners ”.

He added that “the will of God is what the people express and no people want oppression. Despite the empire’s attempts to destroy our country, here is Nicaragua standing firm and forward ”.
