Más de 500 familias afectadas en Tasba Pri por las lluvias
Los primeros informes de afectaciones después del paso de la onda tropical número 26 por la Costa Caribe Norte indican que unas 500 familias fueron afectadas.
La evaluación de daños en la zona realizado por funcionarios del Gobierno Regional, Alcaldía Municipal de Bilwi y concejales de este territorio indican que en la comunidad de Kukalaya 105 familia fueron afectadas por las lluvias, perjudicando directamente a 504 personas y 84 viviendas anegadas.
En la comunidad El Pinol sector de Masmalaya y Akawas 25 familias fueron afectadas, 150 personas resultaron con sus 20 viviendas anegadas.
El Rio Kukalaya arrastró la casa de don Emiliano Picado Figueroa, la vivienda estaba ubicada de la Iglesia de Dios 100 metros al Sur, sobre la carretera Puerto cabezas – Rosita. La casa de madera fue arrastrada y destruida por la corriente, en ella habitaban la familia de don Emiliano compuesta por 6 personas.
Las autoridades prepararan paquetes alimenticios para atender la emergencia en este territorio.
La crecida de los ríos Wawa Boom, Prinzapolka y Kukalaya ha dejado afectaciones en la Costa Caribe Norte, principalmente en los municipios de Puerto Cabezas, Waspam y Rosita, que están incomunicados por la crecida de los rios.
Viviendas inundadas y destruidas, el lanchón inhabilitado, cortes de energía e interrupción del transporte terrestre son parte de los daños que se reportan en el Caribe Norte, ante la crecida de los ríos por las lluvias registradas en las últimas horas.
En el municipio de Prinzapolka se mantienen alerta ante la crecida del río, por lo que activaron las brigadas de respuesta para apoyar a la población en caso que sea necesario sobre todo si se decide realizar evacuaciones.
Mientras que en la comunidad del Wawa Boom, el paso continúa suspendido, las viviendas inundadas y las calles completamente anegadas, por lo que las autoridades brindan acompañamiento a las familias afectadas.
Los municipios de Bilwi y Waspam en el Caribe Norte, continúa incomunicados vía terrestre debido a la crecida del río Wawa Boom que no permite que el lanchón circule con normalidad, en imágenes además se observan casa anegadas.
Por su parte la alcaldesa del municipio de Prinzapolka, Prodelina Bob informó que el Comité Municipal de Mitigación y Atención a Desastres se ha activado ante la amenaza de desborde del rio del mismo nombre.
“Estamos atentos a evacuar si fuera necesario”, señaló la funcionaria.
Las lluvias además causaron daños en los cultivos agrícolas del territorio Amasau, Waspam, en done las autoridades realizan las respectivas evaluaciones.

For her part, the mayor of the municipality of Prinzapolka, Prodelina Bob reported that the Municipal Committee for Disaster Mitigation and Attention has been activated due to the threat of overflowing the river of the same name.
«We are attentive to evacuate if necessary,» said the official.
The rains also caused damage to agricultural crops in the Amasau territory, Waspam, where the authorities carry out the respective evaluations.
