El hospital regional que se construye en Bilwi estará equipado con tecnología de punta y tendrá 24 especialidades para atender a la población del Caribe Norte de Nicaragua

El hospital regional de Bilwi estará concluido en el año 2022 y se invierten 82.2 millones de dólares, será una de las inversiones más importantes del Gobierno de Nicaragua en el Caribe Norte.

Las autoridades del Ministerio de Salud anunciaron la obra contara con 24 especialidades y atenderá a una población de más de 457 mil 256 habitantes de Puerto Cabezas, Prinzapolka, Triángulo Minero, Mulukukú y Bocana de Paiwas.

El hospital regional contará con equipos de alta tecnología como quirófanos inteligentes, tomógrafos, Mimógrafos, audiómetros, cabina de seguridad biológica y cámara hiperbárica para atender a los buzos que sufren descompresión durante su labor en el Mar.

El Hospital será un sueño hecho realidad para la población de esta zona del país, porque ya no tendrán que recorrer los 518 kilómetros que separa esta cabecera departamental con Managua en busca de atención médica.

Este centro asistencial contarán con una Unidad de Salud que garantizará una atención integral a las familias de las comunidades de Pueblos Indígenas, Afrodescendientes y Mestizos de la esta región caribeña.

The regional hospital will have high-tech equipment such as smart operating rooms, tomographs, Mimographs, audiometers, a biological safety cabin and a hyperbaric chamber to attend to divers who suffer decompression during their work at sea.

The Hospital will be a dream come true for the population of this area of ​​the country, because they will no longer have to travel the 518 kilometers that separates this departmental capital from Managua in search of medical attention.

This care center will have a Health Unit that will guarantee comprehensive care for the families of the communities of Indigenous, Afro-descendant and Mestizo Peoples of this Caribbean region.
