Promueven proyecto pesquero en comunidades del Caribe Sur

Una delegación oficial del Gobierno de Nicaragua realizaron una visita a los pescadores de Rama Cay con el objetivo de conversar sobre el programa gubernamental NICAPESCA y puedan trabajar juntos y en armonía  con el Medio Ambiente,

Los pescadores quieren en su comunidad el manejo y protección del sector de pesca en la comunidad  de  Rama Cay,  viveros de crianza de pescado y camarón de río, materiales para desarrollar la pesca artesanal.

Los delegados de MEFCCA  e INPESCA expusieron sobre el papel que les toca realizar en el programa, será ejecutado por el Ministerio de Economía Familiar (Mefcca) en coordinación con el Instituto Nicaragüense de la Pesca y Acuicultura (Inpesca) y el Gobierno Regional, con un  financiamiento del Fondo Internacional de Desarrollo Agrícola (FIDA).

Este proyecto se logró a través de un convenio suscrito entre el Gobierno  de Nicaragua  y el FIDA.

Los funcionarios explicaron que deben pensar en trabajar en unidad y armonía, pensar en programas de desarrollo en grande que puedan administrar bien y hacerlos rentables.

Rubén López, coordinador del Gobierno Regional, dijo que la lucha del Gobierno es para que las comunidades vivan mejor, que cada día tengan mejores  condiciones de vida.

«Me alegra que su primera idea de proyecto  sea el buen manejo de los recursos  pesqueros, ya que siempre debemos de priorizar el cuidado de nuestros  recursos naturales» afirmó López.

Estamos en la primera  etapa del programa, que es, escuchar sus ideas de proyectos que vengan a beneficiarlos como comunidad ya que en la unión  está la fuerza de un pueblo para desarrollar su economía y su buen vivir, dijo el coordinador del Gobierno Regional.

Con el objetivo fortalecer el crecimiento de la pesca artesanal y la acuicultura,  en el Caribe Sur de Nicaragua, el Gobierno de Nicaragua ha promovido un modelo de desarrollo humano, fomentando programas como NICAPESCA, que impulsan el avance en lo económico-  social, con un enfoque de cambio climático en el que se respete la madre tierra.

Los planteamientos del Gobierno,  buscan apoyar a  pescadores artesanales, promoviendo sus derechos humanos y salvaguardando un uso sostenible de los recursos pesqueros de los que dependen para su subsistencia; dijo  Johnny Hodgson, delegado de la  presidencia en la región.

Fishing project promoted in southern Caribbean communities

An official delegation from the Government of Nicaragua paid a visit to the fishermen of Rama Cay with the aim of discussing the NICAPESCA government program and to work together and in harmony with the environment.

The fishermen want in their community the management and protection of the fishing sector in the Rama Cay community, nurseries for raising fish and river shrimp, materials to develop artisanal fishing.

The delegates of MEFCCA and INPESCA presented on the role that they have to play in the program, it will be carried out by the Ministry of Family Economy (Mefcca) in coordination with the Nicaraguan Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (Inpesca) and the Regional Government, with a financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

This project was achieved through an agreement signed between the Government of Nicaragua and IFAD.

Officials explained that they should think about working in unity and harmony, think about large-scale development programs that they can manage well and make profitable.

Rubén López, coordinator of the Regional Government, said that the Government’s fight is so that the communities live better, that each day they have better living conditions.

«I am glad that your first project idea is the good management of fishery resources, since we must always prioritize the care of our natural resources,» said López.

We are in the first stage of the program, which is to listen to your project ideas that will benefit you as a community, since the union is the strength of a people to develop its economy and its good living, said the coordinator of the Regional Government.

With the objective of strengthening the growth of artisanal fishing and aquaculture, in the South Caribbean of Nicaragua, the Government of Nicaragua has promoted a model of human development, promoting programs such as NICAPESCA, which promote progress in the economic-social sphere, with a climate change approach in which mother earth is respected.

The Government’s proposals seek to support artisanal fishermen, promoting their human rights and safeguarding a sustainable use of the fishing resources on which they depend for their subsistence; said Johnny Hodgson, delegate of the presidency in the region.
