Presentan estrategia de desarrollo de la Costa Caribe

En un recorrido hecho por una comisión oficial del Gobierno en las comunidades de La Cruz de Río Grande, Kukra Hill, Marshall Point y Laguna de Perla, se presentó ante la población la nueva estrategia de desarrollo de la Costa Caribe,
Jhony Hodgson Deering, delegado de la presidencia para el Caribe Sur dijo que con la estrategia el Gobierno de Nicaragua busca alcanza el buen vivir para los pueblos originarios y afrodescendientes y otras comunidades étnicas del Caribe de Nicaragua.
«Nosotros nos metimos a ser Gobierno con la misión de trabajar día y noche para lograr el buen vivir del pueblo de la Costa Caribe». Afirmó Hodgson Deering.
El ingeniero Hodgson, citó las palabras del congresista Horatio Hodgson «Este departamento de Zelaya, carece de carreteras, carece de energía eléctrica, carece de puertos modernos, carece de sistema telefónico y servicios de hospitales; cuando muchos otros departamentos del exterior gozan de esos beneficios.
“Estamos cumpliendo con su sueño, hemos construidos carreteras, cada día más hogares cuentan con energía eléctrica, de han construido hospitales primarios y se continua con la construcción de más hospitales” reiteró el delegado de la presidencia.
Todo lo que soñó Horatio Hodgson, ha sido parte de la anterior estrategia, con la nueva estrategia nos enfocamos en dos campo, el campo material que abarca lo que tenemos que hacer para vivir bien, para eso desarrollamos programas como café, cacao, coco, etc, proyectos como el puerto de aguas profundas, el programa NICAPESCA para que las y los pescadores trabajen unidos y saquen adelante a sus seres queridos, concluyó el delegado de la presidencia.
La Estrategia de Desarrollo de la Costa Caribe es nuestra brújula con la cual nos orientamos para ir construyendo la nueva sociedad de progreso, la nueva sociedad del bien común donde las y los costeños tengamos un mejor nivel de vida, dijo el coordinador del Gobierno Regional del Caribe Sur Rubén López Espinoza.
El coordinador del Gobierno aseguro que estamos hablando del futuro de la región y sus pobladores, pensando en ese futuro, se están desarrollando programas como ENDE REDD, en el que se pretende concientizar a la no deforestación que se ha venido haciendo de manera irresponsable y proteger el medio ambiente.
López Espinoza detallo que otro programa que impulsa el Gobierno es la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional; implementando estrategias para la producción competitiva y comercialización de alimentos, para elevar el nivel de vida de las familias costeñas, todo ello contemplado en la nueva estrategia de desarrollo de la Costa Caribe,
Las autoridades del Caribe Sur abordaron otros temas en la Cruz de Río Grande y fue la construcción de carreteras y aplaudieron que el Gobierno, por medio de la Asamblea Nacional, aprobara US$ 20.5 Millones, para electrificación de comunidades de El Tortuguero y La Cruz del Río Grande.
La comisión interinstitucional fue conformada por el ingeniero Johnny Hodgson, delegado de la presidencia en el Caribe Sur, Rubén López, coordinador del Gobierno Regional, Comisionada Maida Quiroz, segunda jefa de la Policía Nacional en el Caribe Sur, Narciso Arteta, delegado del INAFOR, Melvin James, delegado del ministerio de Educación y Guillermo Rodríguez, coordinador de la comisión.
Development strategy for the Caribbean Coast presented
In a tour made by an official government commission in the communities of La Cruz de Río Grande, Kukra Hill, Marshall Point and Laguna de Perla, the new development strategy of the Caribbean Coast was presented to the population,
Jhony Hodgson Deering, delegate of the presidency for the South Caribbean, said that with the strategy the Nicaraguan Government seeks to achieve good living for indigenous peoples and Afro-descendants and other ethnic communities of the Caribbean of Nicaragua.
«We became a government with the mission of working day and night to achieve the good life of the people of the Caribbean Coast.» Hodgson Deering stated.
The engineer Hodgson, quoted the words of Congressman Horatio Hodgson «This department of Zelaya, lacks roads, lacks electricity, lacks modern ports, lacks telephone system and hospital services, when many other departments abroad enjoy those benefits .
«We are fulfilling his dream, we have built roads, every day more homes have electricity, primary hospitals have been built and the construction of more hospitals continues,» reiterated the delegate of the presidency.
Everything that Horatio Hodgson dreamed of, has been part of the previous strategy, with the new strategy we focus on two fields, the material field that includes what we have to do to live well, for that we develop programs such as coffee, cocoa, coconut, etc, projects such as the deep-water port, the NICAPESCA program for fishermen to work together and bring their loved ones forward, concluded the delegate of the presidency.
The Development Strategy of the Caribbean Coast is our compass with which we guide ourselves to build the new society of progress, the new society of the common good where we coastal people have a better standard of living, said the coordinator of the Regional Government of the South Caribbean Rubén López Espinoza.
The Government coordinator assured that we are talking about the future of the region and its inhabitants, thinking about that future, programs such as ENDE REDD are being developed, in which it is intended to raise awareness of the non-deforestation that has been done irresponsibly and protect environment.
López Espinoza detailed that another program promoted by the Government is food and nutritional security; implementing strategies for the competitive production and commercialization of food, to raise the standard of living of coastal families, all contemplated in the new development strategy of the Caribbean Coast,
The authorities of the South Caribbean addressed other issues in the Cruz de Río Grande and it was the construction of roads and applauded that the Government, through the National Assembly, approved US $ 20.5 million, for the electrification of communities of El Tortuguero and La Cruz del Rio Grande.
The inter-institutional commission was made up of the engineer Johnny Hodgson, delegate of the presidency in the South Caribbean, Rubén López, coordinator of the Regional Government, Commissioner Maida Quiroz, second chief of the National Police in the South Caribbean, Narciso Arteta, delegate of INAFOR, Melvin James, delegate of the Ministry of Education and Guillermo Rodríguez, coordinator of the commission.
