Feria «Agro café Robusta» en el municipio KuKra Hill

En el marco de la ejecución de los planes de inversión de café en el territorio Indígena y afrodescendientes de la cuenca de Laguna de Perlas, con el objetivo de fortalecer la cadena productiva del café Robusta, ofertando los productos y subproductos al igual la divulgación de experiencias en las etapas del proceso productivo del rubro como producción, postcosecha y comercialización.

La mañana de este 30 de agosto se llevó a cabo la feria » Agro Café Robusta» en el municipio de KuKra Hill.

El cultivo del café es una actividad económica de suma importancia y estratégica para la Región, que viene a dinamizar la economía familiar de los 300 protagonistas (Hombres y Mujeres) en 23 comunidades de incidencia de ambos proyecto de innovación (PI),es por ello que el Gobierno Regional ha venido impulsando fuertemente en la producción de la Costa Caribe Sur, garantizando la soberanía alimentaria.

En esta feria los protagonistas del proyecto PI tienen la oportunidad de ofertar sus productos y cultivos como ventas de bebidas a base de café y cacao, confites, jes, yogur, Ron todo a base de café al igual la venta de verduras, carne asada y refresco de coco entre otros.

Danilo Chang, director ejecutivo del GRACCS, dijo que » Aquí estamos cumpliendo lo que nuestro comandante ha establecido, el plan Nacional de desarrollo Humano y la estrategia del desarrollo de la Costa Caribe de fortalecer la economía familiar y garantizando el trabajo de los productores, campesinos, hombres y mujeres».

“El gobierno Regional a través de la secretaría de producción, industria y comercio (SPIC) estamos impulsando capacitación técnica a los productores para fortalecer la economía Regional, pero también impulsando la economía Nacional» Concluyo Chang.

En la Feria tambien se ofertaron otros productos de consumo y otros elaborados a base de coco.

«Desde esta feria agro Café, se ha logrado ver que tiene buenos resultados en toda la Region y en el municipio de KuKra Hill, no será la primera feria, se va a venir coordinando para realizar otras más y demostrarle al mundo entero que Nicaragua es un país auto sostenible enfatizó Carolina Morgan, Alcaldesa del municipio.

Stave Hayes, director técnico de la secretaría de producción (SPIC) manifestó que esta feria es parte de todas las actividades de una cadena económica y productiva, de los cuales están involucrados los principales actores, los protagonistas beneficiados del proyecto de promover la economía familiar.

En este mismo sentido, Sandra Martínez beneficiaría del proyecto PI refirió que » esta feria me parece magnífico, estamos orgullosa que nos tomen en cuenta a nosotras las mujeres, es una experiencia nueva que tenemos y estamos agradecidos como familia y este logro más para nuestra economía Nicaragüense».

Por su parte, David Chamorro beneficiario del proyecto aseguró que» Este evento es muy interesante e importante porque así nosotros como productores podemos ofertar nuestros productos, lo que producimos en el campo, producto frescos y a bajo precio para que puedan beneficiarse directamente los compradores.

Esta actividad se llevó acabo en coordinación con la alcaldía municipal de KuKra Hill, gobiernos territoriales de la cuenca de Lagunas de Perlas, MEFCCA, INTA, IPSA, Juventud sandinista y secretaria de producción del GRACCS.

Cabe mencionar que durante la feria se realizaron actividades recreativas con el apoyo de la secretaria de la juventud Regional SEREJUVE.

Fair «Agro café Robusta» in the KuKra Hill municipality

In the framework of the execution of the coffee investment plans in the Indigenous and Afro-descendant territory of the Laguna de Perlas basin, with the aim of strengthening the Robusta coffee production chain, offering products and by-products as well as the dissemination of experiences in the stages of the productive process of the item such as production, post-harvest and commercialization.

On the morning of August 30, the «Agro Café Robusta» fair was held in the municipality of KuKra Hill.

The cultivation of coffee is an economic activity of utmost importance and strategic for the Region, which comes to stimulate the family economy of the 300 protagonists (Men and Women) in 23 communities of incidence of both innovation projects (PI), that is why that the Regional Government has been strongly promoting the production of the South Caribbean Coast, guaranteeing food sovereignty.

At this fair, the protagonists of the PI project have the opportunity to offer their products and crops such as sales of coffee and cocoa-based beverages, candies, jesus, yogurt, all coffee-based rum as well as the sale of vegetables, roast meat and coconut soda among others.

Danilo Chang, executive director of GRACCS, said that «Here we are fulfilling what our commander has established, the National Human development plan and the development strategy of the Caribbean Coast of strengthening the family economy and guaranteeing the work of producers, peasants , men and women».

«The Regional government through the secretariat of production, industry and commerce (SPIC) are promoting technical training to producers to strengthen the Regional economy, but also promoting the National economy» Chang concluded.

«Since this agro Café fair, it has been possible to see that it has good results throughout the Region and in the municipality of KuKra Hill, it will not be the first fair, it will be coordinating to carry out other more and show the whole world that Nicaragua is a self-sustaining country, emphasized Carolina Morgan, Mayor of the municipality.

Stave Hayes, technical director of the production secretariat (SPIC) said that this fair is part of all the activities of an economic and productive chain, of which the main actors are involved, the protagonists who benefit from the project to promote the family economy.

In this same sense, Sandra Martínez would benefit from the PI project, said that «this fair seems magnificent to me, we are proud that they take us women into account, it is a new experience that we have and we are grateful as a family and this achievement more for our economy Nicaraguan».

For his part, David Chamorro, beneficiary of the project, assured that «This event is very interesting and important because in this way we as producers can offer our products, what we produce in the field, fresh products and at a low price so that buyers can benefit directly.

This activity was carried out in coordination with the municipal government of KuKra Hill, territorial governments of the Lagunas de Perlas basin, MEFCCA, INTA, IPSA, Sandinista Youth and the GRACCS production secretary.

It is worth mentioning that during the fair recreational activities were carried out with the support of the Regional Youth Secretary SEREJUVE.
