Luis Castellón domina a los dantos en el primer juego de la final del pomares 2020

Ronald TIffer depositó su confianza en el brazo de Luis Castellón para el arranque de la Serie Final del Pomares 2020 ante Los Dantos y el jinotegano le remuneró con creces su voto de confianza. Castellón coqueteó con el No Hit No Run durante 7.2 episodios y pese a no bordar la hazaña, su imponente labor fue suficiente para que el Bóer derrotara y por blanqueada 6×0 a los Dantos en el inicio de la serie.

Castellón con el apoyo tempranero de su equipo, le ganó la partida a Jorge Bucardo quien se vio en desventaja desde el arranque de juego. En el inicio del primero y dos out en la pizarra, doble de Edgard Montiel y sencillo productor de Juan Carlos Urbina pusieron al frente al Bóer 1×0.

Ambos abridores se trenzaron en un llamativo duelo de pitcheo hasta en el sexto episodio cuando nuevamente el Bóer volvió a hacerle daño a Bucardo. Urbina recibió boleto y Javier Robles con largo doble entre jardín derecho y central empujó la segunda de la Tribu.

Castellón se mantuvo intratable hasta el cierre del octavo episodio en que luego de dos out su coterráneo refuerzo de los Dantos: Juan Blandón, le ligó de hit al jardín izquierdo para poner fin así al embrujo del Jinotega y a su labor pues fue retirado del montículo tras acumular 109 lanzamientos.

Los Dantos amenazaron tras la salida de Castellón. Henry Burton recibió con largo doble al relevista Braulio Silva para colocar hombres en segunda y tercera, pero Jimmy Bermúdez apareció en escena para ponchar a Benjamín Alegría y acabar con el peligro.

El Bóer sentenció el partido en el inicio del noveno con rally de cuatro carreras. WIston Dávila inició la tanda ante Junior Téllez con doble. Apareció en relevo Claudio Hernández quien fue recibido por imparable de Álvaro Rubí que empujó a Dávila con la tercera, con doble error en la jugada, Rubí avanzó hasta tercera y sería remolcado por hit de Janior Montes.

Kevin Ramírez en relevo de Hernández, dominio a Cristhian Moreno en fly, Montes avanzó a segunda por Wild Pitch, Rivera con doble al izquierdo remolcó a Montes con la quinta. Ariel Downs llegó al relevo de Ramírez para enfrentar a Wuillians Vásquez. Rivera avanzó a tercera por Pasball. Edgard Montiel con sencillo impulsó la sexta del Bóer.

El ganador fue Luis Castellón con apertura de 7.2 innings, 7 ponches, 2 boletos y apenas 1 imparable. Jorge Bucardo el derrotado con 5 episodios de 2 carreras, Jimmy Bermúdez se acreditó juego salvado.

Cuatro outs separaron a Luis Castellón de haber registrado apenas el quinto No Hit No Run en series finales en nuestro béisbol desde 1970. Juan Oviedo fue el primero en lograrlo en 1971 con el Chinandega ante el Bóer Victoria en el triunfo en 9 episodios 10×0 el 29 de agosto de dicho año.

En la final de 1973, el 30 de julio Leonardo Fonseca lanzó No Hit No Run ante el San Fernando con victoria 2×0 en 9 episodios. Ocho días después su compañero Antonio Chévez logró la faena también ante el San Fernando en 9 episodios con score de 5×0, propinando 10 ponches.

43 años después se volvió a registrar un NHNR. Elvin Orozco y Wilfredo Amador se combinaron para dejar sin imparables en el quinto juego de la final al León en la victoria de Matagalpa por KO 10×0 en 8 episodios. La de esta noche fue la blanqueada número 78 que se registra en series finales.

Ronald TIffer placed his trust in the arm of Luis Castellón for the start of the Final Series of the Pomares 2020 against Los Dantos and the jinotegano more than rewarded his vote of confidence. Castellón flirted with No Hit No Run for 7.2 episodes and despite not embroidering the feat, his imposing work was enough for Bóer to defeat and shutdown the Dantos 6 × 0 at the start of the series.

Castellón with the early support of his team, won the game against Jorge Bucardo who was disadvantaged from the start of the game. At the start of the first and two out on the board, Edgard Montiel’s double and Juan Carlos Urbina’s single producer put Bóer in front 1 × 0.

Both starters braided each other in a striking pitching duel until the sixth episode when the Boer again hurt Bucardo. Urbina received a ticket and Javier Robles with a double length between right field and center pushed the second of the Tribe.

Castellón remained untreatable until the end of the eighth episode in which after two out his fellow reinforcement of the Dantos: Juan Blandón, hit him hit left field to end the spell of Jinotega and his work as he was removed from the mound after rack up 109 pitches.
