Sinapred monitorea fenómeno meteorológico en desarrollo en el Caribe

El doctor Guillermo González, Ministro Director del Sinapred, informó sobre el desarrollo del fenómeno meteorológico en el Caribe y las acciones preventivas a tomar frente a cualquier posible evento en el litoral de Nicaragua.

Luego de sostener una reunión virtual orientada por el Presidente Comandante Daniel Ortega y la Compañera Vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo con los miembros de los Comité regionales del Caribe Sur y Caribe Norte y departamental del Triángulo Minero, así como los Comités de Prevención, Mitigación y Atención de Desastres.

Señaló que este fenómeno se ha venido formando en la porción occidental del Caribe.

«Y que, de acuerdo a los pronósticos en las próximas horas y días, posiblemente se acerque a nuestras costas del litoral Caribe y se desarrolle una depresión tropical», dijo González.

El doctor González manifestó que el ingeniero Marcio Baca les explicó con detalles cómo el fenómeno se ha venido desarrollando, cuáles son sus perspectivas, las posibles afectaciones que podríamos tener en cuanto se acerque a nuestras costas y que de esa manera los compañeros tuvieran claro el escenario a tener, así como las acciones.

“Discutimos con los compañeros que si bien el escenario, no está ni siquiera cerca de pensar en un escenario como el que tuvimos el año pasado, no estamos hablando de que estamos esperando un huracán de esas magnitudes, ni mucho menos, pero que había que manejar la información con toda la seriedad del caso y con toda la previsión del caso y por eso es importante hacer un recuento de como una posible depresión tropical podría afectar en la zona del Caribe Norte, en la región del Caribe sur e incluso el Triángulo Minero”, afirmó el Ministro Director del Sinapred.

Asimismo, procedieron a revisar los preparativos, acciones inmediatas a tener, posibles trayectorias y zonas que podría verse afectada su población, como los que están expuestas a inundaciones, deslizamientos, los que se dedican a la pesca, y otros aspectos que tienen que ver con su vida cotidiana.

Explicó que entre las acciones a tomar a partir de mañana están las visitas a las familias y brindar recomendaciones, llamado a los pescadores a no salir a su faena y los que están en alta mar que se pongan en resguardo, las familias que viven en las riberas de ríos y zonas bajas que se pongan en resguardo.

Además de las acciones y preparativos de las instituciones con sus brigadas, así como con las brigadas institucionales y municipales.

“Ese fue el mandato que les transmitimos, de nuestro Presidente, de estar listos para cualquier situación”, apuntó.

“Un llamado a la población en general a que esté atenta a las informaciones que desde el Ineter y el Sistema estaremos brindando sobre el progreso este fenómeno, de los preparativos que estamos haciendo, para que de manera concreta y objetiva, como siempre, verdad, estemos dispuestos a apoyar a las familias, a las personas, para asegurar lo más importante que es la vida. Y tratar, en ningún momento, de alarmarse y en ningún momento perder la calma”, indicó el doctor González.

Likewise, they proceeded to review the preparations, immediate actions to be taken, possible trajectories and areas that their population could be affected, such as those that are exposed to floods, landslides, those that are dedicated to fishing, and other aspects that have to do with your everyday life.

He explained that among the actions to be taken starting tomorrow are visits to families and provide recommendations, calling on fishermen not to go out to work and those who are on the high seas to take shelter, the families who live in the riverbanks and low areas that are put in shelter.

In addition to the actions and preparations of the institutions with their brigades, as well as with the institutional and municipal brigades.

«That was the mandate that we transmitted to you, from our President, to be ready for any situation,» he said.
