Tres mujeres ahogadas al cruzar el río Nasawe en Siuna

Tres mujeres fueron arrastradas por las fuertes corrientes del rio Nasawe, en la comarca el Piá jurisdicción de Siuna, en el Caribe Norte.

Las lluvias caídas en la región caribeña provocaron la crecida del rio Nasawe, las dos adultas y una niña, fueron arrastradas al intentar cruzar el rio.

Las tres mujeres arrastradas fueron identificadas como María Cristina Mendoza Gaitán de 50 años, Marlene López de 27 años, Maryuri Espinoza de 4 años.

Marlene se dirigía a la comunidad El Pía para atender algunos asuntos personales, al ver el río crecido, no se detuvo a esperar a que las corrientes bajaran por lo que decidió cruzar el rio junto con sus dos hijas, las fuertes corrientes los arrastraron a los tres.

Un niño Jassir Espinoza López quien logró sobrevivir aferrado a la raíz de un árbol.

El cuerpo de Marlene López fue encontrado horas después de haber sido arrastrada y el de su pequeña fue localizado la mañana de este lunes.

Madre e hija fueron veladas en la comunidad El Triunfo, jurisdicción de Prinzapolka, donde fueron sepultadas.

Mientras María Cristiana, trató de cruzar el río para llegar a su casa, pero las fuertes corrientes la arrastraron, su cuerpo fue encontrado después en una rama de un árbol sobre el rio. Ella era originaria de la comunidad El Naipe, en Siuna, Triángulo Minero, donde se le dio cristiana sepultura.

El llamado a todas las familias que del campo para que puedan tener mas cuidado a la hora de cruzar los ríos, es mejor esperar q que bajen las aguas y así evitar una tragedia.

Three women drowned while crossing Nasawe laughed in Siuna

Three women were dragged by the strong currents of the Nasawe River, in the Piá region, jurisdiction of Siuna in the North Caribbean.

The rains that fell in the Caribbean region caused the Nasawe River to rise, the two adults and a girl were dragged while trying to cross the river.

The three dragged women were identified as María Cristina Mendoza Gaitán, 50, Marlene López, 27, and Maryuri Espinoza, 4.

Marlene was going to the El Pía community to attend to some personal matters, when she saw the river swollen, she did not stop to wait for the currents to go down so she decided to cross the river together with her two daughters, the strong currents dragged them to the three.

The body of Marlene López was found hours after she was dragged and that of her little girl was located this Monday morning.

Mother and daughter were veiled in the El Triunfo community, jurisdiction of Prinzapolka, where they were buried.

While María Cristiana tried to cross the river to get to her house, but the strong currents dragged her away, her body was later found on a branch of a tree above the river. She was originally from the El Naipe community, in Siuna, Triángulo Minero, where she was given a Christian burial.

The call to all the families in the countryside so that they can be more careful when crossing the rivers, it is better to wait for the waters to go down and thus avoid a tragedy.
