Gobierno fortalece acciones para desarrollo en Caribe Norte

El Ministerio de Economía Familiar, Comunitaria, Cooperativa y Asociativa (MEFCCA), en la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte, en coordinación   con autoridades del Gobierno Regional y Sistema de Producción, Consumo y Comercio, en esta región,  iniciaron un proceso de consulta con autoridades locales de los territorios indígenas de Karata, Prinzu Auhya Un y Tawira, para la ejecución del proyecto: Cadenas de Valor Inclusivas y Resilientes Vinculadas a la Pesca Artesanal y la Acuicultura en la Costa Caribe de Nicaragua (NICAPESCA), con el fin de fortalecer el trabajo de las familias que se dedican a este rubro.

El taller de consulta para la implementación del proyecto NICAPESCA en la Costa Caribe, donde participan autoridades territoriales de la Zona Costera, se realizó en el auditorio del Gobierno Regional del Caribe Norte, para definir metodología, establecer mecanismos de coordinación e implementar el proceso de consulta libre para la ejecución del mismo.

Nildo Amasio, en representación del territorio de Tawira expresó: “este Gobierno siempre realiza la consulta previa, antes de introducir cualquier tipo de programas en las comunidades, y así trabajamos de la mano y todo marcha a la perfección”.

Por su parte Moisés Vanegas del territorio de Prinzu Ahuya Un enfatizó: “estos programas que implementa nuestro Gobierno son para el desarrollo, es así que las familias se ayudan y sacan adelante a sus familias, en educación, salud y la alimentación”.

Ali Waters, delegado del MEFCCA en esta Región del Caribe Norte manifestó que el proyecto NICAPESCA es uno de los más grandes que el Gobierno de Nicaragua está introduciendo en el Caribe, abarca desde cabo Gracias a Dios y culmina en Monkey Point en el Caribe Sur.

“Esto es gracias al compromiso que tiene el gobierno del comandante Daniel Ortega y la Compañera Rosario Murillo, con el desarrollo de las comunidades indígenas y afrodescendiente de la Costa Caribe para erradicar la pobreza.

En este proyecto se invertirá en la compra de equipos de pesca, acopio y el cuido de la reserva Cayos Miskitos”, detalló.

Government strengthens actions for development in the North Caribbean

The Ministry of Family, Community, Cooperative and Associative Economy (MEFCCA), in the Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast, in coordination with authorities of the Regional Government and the Production, Consumption and Trade System in this region, initiated a consultation process with local authorities of the indigenous territories of Karata, Prinzu Auhya Un and Tawira, for the execution of the project: Inclusive and Resilient Value Chains Linked to Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture on the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua (NICAPESCA), in order to strengthen the work of families who are dedicated to this area.

The consultation workshop for the implementation of the NICAPESCA project in the Caribbean Coast, where territorial authorities of the Coastal Zone participate, was held in the auditorium of the Regional Government of the North Caribbean, to define methodology, establish coordination mechanisms and implement the consultation process free for the execution of the same.

Nildo Amasio, on behalf of the Tawira territory, stated: «this Government always carries out prior consultation, before introducing any type of programs in the communities, and thus we work hand in hand and everything is going perfectly.»

For his part, Moisés Vanegas from the Prinzu Ahuya Un territory emphasized: «These programs that our Government implements are for development, that is how families help each other and bring their families forward, in education, health and food.»

Ali Waters, MEFCCA delegate in this North Caribbean Region, stated that the NICAPESCA project is one of the largest that the Nicaraguan Government is introducing in the Caribbean, covering from Cabo Gracias a Dios and culminating in Monkey Point in the South Caribbean.

“This is thanks to the commitment that the government of Commander Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo have, with the development of indigenous and Afro-descendant communities of the Caribbean Coast to eradicate poverty.

This project will invest in the purchase of fishing equipment, storage and the care of the Cayos Miskitos reserve, ”he explained.
