Autoridades del Gobierno regional del Caribe Norte, los alcaldes y el Gobierno de la Nacional Mayangna y territorios indígenas, participaran hoy del Sauda una tradiciones Mayangna que reúne a los nueve territorios indígenas para fortalecer su identidad y cosmovisión de sus pueblos originarios.

Musawas es la capital del Pueblo Mayangna, esta comunidad ya cuenta con energía y carretera, actualmente está en construcción un bello colegio primaria y secundaria para atender la educación de los indígenas.

Hoy vamos a experimentar un viaje por carretera que ha sido construida por el Gobierno de Nicaragua en articulación con el Gobierno Regional Autónomo de la Costa Caribe Norte y el Gobierno Municipal de Bonanza.  

Las autoridades que compartirán con el pueblo Mayangna son el master Carlos Alemán Cunningham, coordinador del Gobierno regional, José Luis Solorzano delegado del presidente en el Triangulo Minero, Alexander Alvarado Lam alcalde de Bonanza, Otilio Duarte Herrera alcalde de Siuna. Sauda es el centro principal de la expresión cultural del pueblo Mayangna, ya que la tradición se renueva a través de esta festividad o ceremonial. Sauda como fiesta tradicional del pueblo Mayangna.

Se integra todos los territorios y todo el pueblo Mayangna en general, los comunitarios se les olvida temporalmente los problemas sociales, económicos, políticos y se festejan en un momento especial con actos rituales, ceremoniales, música, danza, la distribución de alimentos, bebidas típicas, reflexiones de diversos tópicos, entre otros.

La celebración de la festividad de Sauda, reafirma el origen y la existencia de las comunidades y los territorios, las relaciones sociales y culturales, sobre todo las que tienen que ver con las autoridades y poderes locales, territoriales y nacionales, son confirmadas.

Las fiestas del Sauda, es un estado mental, emocional y espiritual, porque permite compartir sentimientos y creencias del pueblo Mayangna. Asimismo, es un hecho social total, de expresión ritual, simbólica y sagrada.

El ciclo festivo de Sauda marca el calendario agrícola y productivo, caza, pesca y la cosecha de frutos del bosque, etc. La gastronomía, música, danza, poesía son los elementos que acompañan y está representada durante la celebración de Sauda.

Native peoples celebrate Sauda in Musawas
