La ambulancia de la Cruz Roja nicaragüense filial Bluefields se volcó cuando regresaba de Managua la tarde de este sábado en el departamento de Chontales, informaron diversas fuentes.

El accidente ocurrió en la Báscula en el departamento de Chontales, cuando el vehículo retornaba de Managua después de haber dejado un paciente que se trasladó desde Bluefields.

En su retorno venían con otro paciente que fue dado de alta y viajaba en la ambulancia hacia Bluefields.

La ambulancia sufrió el percance cuando el conductor intento frenar en medio de un aguacero y termino volcada.

La ambulancia era conducida por Oswaldo Gonzáles, quien además es el presidente del Consejo de Cruz Roja en el Caribe Sur.

Los cinco ocupantes ya fueron llevados al Hospital Asunción en Juigalpa Chontales por la ambulancia de Cruz Roja de ese departamento.

Se reportan daños materiales y lesiones en los pasajeros, quienes son valorados en estos momentos por los galenos de turno del Hospital Escuela Asunción.

The five occupants were already taken to the Asunción Hospital in Juigalpa Chontales by the Red Cross ambulance from that department.

Material damage and injuries to passengers are reported, who are currently valued by the doctors on duty at Hospital Escuela Asunción.
