Nicaragua sigue reactivando actividades económicas, afirma Daniel

El Presidente Daniel Ortega expresó este miércoles que en las circunstancias producidas por el Covid-19,  Nicaragua aplica las normales fundamentales de salud para enfrentar la pandemia, pero sin cerrar los espacios para las actividades productivas.

«Ya veníamos normalizando y punteando en la economía centroamericana y nos cayó la pandemia», dijo Daniel.

Expresó que se están volcando esfuerzos hacia las distintas actividades productivas, tanto las tradicionales, como las no tradicionales.

«Y como vemos a los campesinos atentos recibiendo más conocimientos, y recibiendo algunos insumos para mejorar el rendimiento y sus actividades productivas, de plátano, de arroz, legumbres, vemos a los jóvenes capacitándose también y van con su protección a la capacitación, y se hacen capacitaciones a nivel regional y más allá de la región, es decir que este es un pueblo que no se ha quedado paralizado frente a este problema de la epidemia», dijo.

Guerra es cosa del pasado

Durante su intervención durante el 41 Aniversario de la Policía Nacional, el Comandante Ortega expresó que los  ciclos de guerra ya pasaron y que hay gente  que están aferradas a lo que es una mentalidad totalmente conservadora, se quedaron en el pasado, quieren reeditar la lucha del pasado, eso no es posible, más bien se convierte en un factor de estar sembrando inestabilidad.

Si aplicáramos el principio de «ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo», veríamos «la paz que tendríamos en Nicaragua y en el mundo si actuáramos de esa manera».

Por eso, donde haya odio sembremos amor, predicar y poner en práctica, el desafío más grande que tiene una persona de fe es el llamado que hacemos en estos días, donde la pandemia ha provocado suficiente dolor, aseveró.

Frente a ello, lo importante es que «logremos caminar como lo hacemos, que se garantice la educación, la salud, como hemos venido haciendo, es importante el mensaje de la paz, afirmó.

Esta lucha por la paz es una lucha permanente, «que la hemos venido librando desde que Nicaragua existe, es una lucha que sigue siendo una lucha imprescindible para la humanidad».

Paz para Nicaragua, «pero también para todos los pueblos del mundo, muchos pueblos que son sometidos, agredidos, discriminados, pueblos que son bloqueados, a los que quieren exterminar con bloqueos brutales como el de Cuba, de Martí, de Raúl, de Díaz-Canel, al cual le hacemos llegar nuestra solidaridad».

«La Policía esta para enfrentar a los que agreden a la población de una u otra forma; el Ejército esta para garantizar la soberanía del país, la autodeterminación del país frente aquellos que quieren atentar contra la soberanía y la autodeterminación del país», dijo.

Pandemia golpea a países desarrollados

Daniel expresó que lo más significativo es que el desempleo masivo esta en los países desarrollados

Manifestó que en esta época de pandemia los países desarrollados se enfrentan a una multiplicación de los casos, lo cual lleva a detener la apertura pues se están llenando los hospitales.

«No tenían, no encontraban ya camas en los hospitales, ahí en los Estados Unidos, en los países europeos, no encontraban en le primera etapa de la pandemia, no encontraban, no encontraban los aparatos, para poder atender la cantidad de casos que estaban llegando en estado grave», dijo.

Daniel dijo que no es posible en estos momentos lograr que en el mundo funcione la economía como venía funcionando hasta antes de la pandemia.

Aseguró que el poder económico está demostrando una grave fragilidad, «las empresas se vieron obligadas a reducir actividades, en Europa, en Estados Unidos, millones de millones han quedado en el desempleo, centenares de fábricas han sido cerradas, en la fecha» cuando parecía que se iba superando esta epidemia.
