Liberación de religiosa colombiana es un milagro de Dios y la virgen dice párroco de Siuna

Durante la santa misa celebrada en la parroquia nuestro señor de Esquipulas, este domingo 10 de octubre del 2021, el presbiterio Carlos Zuniga Soto, compartió con la feligresía un testimonio de un milagro que Dios y la virgen le concedió.

El sacerdote Zuniga Soto dijo que el pasado 2 de octubre, celebrara la eucaristía en el convento de las hermanas Franciscanas y de María Inmaculada, y coincidía con el cumpleaños de la hermana Gloria Cecilia Narváez.

“Yo se lo pedí de corazón a la virgen María, que pro favor el regalo que le diera a la hermana era su libertad, no se cuantos estaban en ese momento unidos con la misma oración y con el mismo sentimiento, y ofrecimos la misa por ella, yo se lo pedí a la virgencita y ayer (sábado) 9 de octubre, después del mediodía ya me entró el correo de la hermana, con la gran noticia en Colombia de que la hermana había sido liberada del grupo musulmán” dijo el padre Carlos.

Un grupo radical que la secuestro a ella y otras doce personas, son radicales, muchas de sus víctimas con matadas, pero Dios la fue cuidando y protegiendo y allí estaba la esperanza de que ella estaba vivía, por que hubo un momento que no se sabia nada de ella.

Yo quiero dar un testimonio que Dios me dio ese regalo, Dios y la virgencita, nos dio ese regalo y ahora hay que trabajar en las consecuencias psicológicas de la hermana y hoy quería compartir ese testimonio, porque el señor siempre escucha y obra en su tiempo.

LIBERACION DE RELIGICIOA EN AFRICA

La Presidencia de Mali informó que la religiosa colombiana Gloria Cecilia Narváez fue liberada tras estar más de cuatro años bajo poder yihadista. En el momento de su secuestro, Narváez era misionera en la frontera con Burkina Faso. La Vicepresidencia de Colombia señaló que llevaba meses trabajando en su liberación, con la ayuda de los gobiernos africanos de Mali, Senegal y Ghana.

Fueron más de cuatro años privada de libertad, a manos de extremistas y a miles de kilómetros de su país. Sonriente y vestida con una túnica amarilla y un pañuelo en la cabeza, apareció este 10 de octubre la monja colombiana Gloria Cecilia Narváez, mientras se reunía con el presidente interino de Mali, Assimi Goïta.

Narváez fue secuestrada por el Frente de Liberación de Macina, un grupo vinculado a Al Qaeda, en febrero de 2017, cuando se encontraba trabajando como misionera cerca de la frontera con Burkina Faso.

Finalmente, las autoridades locales confirmaron su liberación, que aseguran es producto de las labores de varios servicios de inteligencia. «La Presidencia de Mali saluda el coraje y la valentía de la monja. Esta liberación es el logro culminante de cuatro años y ocho meses de esfuerzos combinados de varios servicios de inteligencia», declaró el Ejecutivo maliense mediante un comunicado.

El presidente Goïta sostuvo que no se pagó ningún rescate a cambio de su libertad. Sin embargo, reconoció que aún hay varias personas retenidas por los yihadistas en ese país: «Aún se están realizando esfuerzos para liberar a todas las personas, tanto malienses como extranjeras, retenidas en el territorio de Mali».
