PMA y SINAPRED recorren Triángulo Minero y Prinzapolka
Autoridades de Sistema Nacional de Prevención, Mitigación y Atención de Desastres de Nicaragua y el programa mundial de alimentos, realizan una visita de acompañamiento en el Triángulo Minero y Prinzapolka para conocer el actuar del Comupred y la atención que se da a las familias con el paso del huracán Eta que ha sido exitosa por que no se tienen pérdidas de vidas humanas.
Lo anterior fue expresado por Xotchil Álvarez directora de planificación y proyectos de Sistema Nacional de Prevención, Mitigación y Atención de Desastres Sinapred.
“Ella está interesada en conocer cómo se organiza y como se prepara previamente para enfrentar este fenómeno y sobre todo que no se perdió ninguna vida y ella está muy sorprendida por el nivel de organización y está aquí conociendo la experiencia de forma personal para conocer cómo se articulan las diferentes autoridades para la atención de las familias” afirmo la directora de Planificación del Sinapred.
Georgia Testolín, representante del Programa Mundial de Alimentos en Nicaragua, dijo que se reunieron con autoridades del Comupred de Siuna y las instituciones y le explicaron cómo se articulan y le pareció una respuesta muy coordinada desde el nivel nacional departamental y municipal.
“Como ayer hemos vistos ahora está llegando la alimentación en Siuna y mañana van a visitar las comunidades de Prinzapolka que ha sido afectada por el huracán Eta y se prepara un plan de respuestas con las institucionales para seguir atendiendo a las familias más afectadas” afirmo Testolin.
José Luis Solórzano secretario político del FSLN en Las Minas dijo que sostuvieron un encuentro intercambiando la preparación, organización previa al huracán Eta, desde el Gobierno desde la comunidad desde los barrios y ha sido exitosa por que no se ha perdido vida humana.
También se hizo un recorrido de las bodegas donde se van a almacenar la alimentación para atender a las familias afectadas por el huracán principalmente a las familias de Prinzapolka.

Georgia Testolín, representative of the World Food Program in Nicaragua, said that they met with authorities of the Comupred de Siuna and the institutions and explained how they are articulated and it seemed to her a very coordinated response from the national departmental and municipal level.
“As we have seen yesterday, food is now arriving in Siuna and tomorrow they will visit the Prinzapolka communities that have been affected by Hurricane Eta and a response plan is being prepared with the institutions to continue serving the most affected families,” said Testolin .
José Luis Solórzano, political secretary of the FSLN in Las Minas said that they held a meeting exchanging preparation, an organization prior to hurricane Eta, from the government from the community from the neighborhoods and it has been successful because no human life has been lost.
There was also a tour of the warehouses where the food will be stored to serve the families affected by the hurricane, mainly the families of Prinzapolka.
