Brigada universitaria apoyará levantamiento de daños en Caribe Norte

La Brigada Universitaria Pedro Arauz Palacios (BUPAP – UNI), salió este lunes hacia la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte, con el fin de apoyar el levantamiento de daños en infraestructura de las familias azotadas por los huracanes Iota y Eta.

La BUPAD está integrada por 75 personas entre docentes, estudiantes y trabajadores administrativos, quienes darán asistencia técnica y especializada a las familias de Siuna, Rosita y Bonanza.

Con la visita se pretende conocer los daños reales y facilitar la información procesada a las autoridades de gobierno local, y de esta manera establecer el proceso de reconstrucción de las viviendas afectadas por estos desastres naturales.

Por su parte, el Rector de la UNI, Néstor Gallo Zeledón expresó que la brigada lleva una gran responsabilidad en sus manos, ya que trabajarán en la evaluación durante 7 a 10 días, poniendo en práctica la responsabilidad social con el pueblo nicaragüense.

“Lo más importante es trabajar como hermanos, unidos como UNI, tenerle cariño y amor a los pobladores del Caribe, en especial les pido corazón en esta misión, tener la moral en alto para representar dignamente a la UNI, porque nosotros tenemos historia en este tipo de trabajos y esta vez les toca a ustedes vivir esta experiencia, éxitos, responsabilidad, que Dios los bendiga”, concluyó Zeledón.

University brigade will support the lifting of damages in the North Caribbean

The Pedro Arauz Palacios University Brigade (BUPAP – UNI), left this Monday to the Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast, in order to support the lifting of damage to the infrastructure of the families hit by hurricanes Iota and Eta.

The BUPAD is made up of 75 people, including teachers, students and administrative workers, who will give technical and specialized assistance to the families of Siuna, Rosita and Bonanza.

The visit is intended to know the real damages and facilitate the processed information to the local government authorities, and in this way establish the process of rebuilding the homes affected by these natural disasters.

For his part, the Rector of UNI, Néstor Gallo Zeledón expressed that the brigade carries a great responsibility in its hands, since they will work on the evaluation for 7 to 10 days, putting into practice social responsibility with the Nicaraguan people.

“The most important thing is to work as brothers, united as UNI, to have affection and love for the people of the Caribbean, especially I ask their hearts in this mission, to have high spirits to represent UNI with dignity, because we have history in this type of jobs and this time it’s up to you to live this experience, successes, responsibility, God bless you, ”Zeledón concluded.
