Regulan el uso de madera para la Costa Caribe de Nicaragua

Este martes autoridades del Instituto Nacional Forestal (INAFOR), junto a la ministra del Ambiente y los Recursos Naturales y el asesor de la Junta Directiva del Fondo Verde para el Clima, firmaron un decreto que permitirá que las familias afectadas por los fenómenos naturales que afectaron al país, den uso de la madera de los árboles que fueron tumbados por los vientos, utilizándolos para la construcción de sus nuevos hogares.

La institución tiene como principal objetivo garantizar la sostenibilidad de los recursos forestales a través de estrategias para adopción del cambio climático y protección de la Madre Tierra.

“De acuerdo a la resolución CODF 54-2020, hemos preparado una resolución administrativa de aprovechamiento legal para las zonas afectadas en los bosques de la Costa Caribe, esto cuenta con 15 artículos para que las familias que se vieron afectadas por estos dos fenómenos puedan acceder de manera ordenada a los recursos», expresó la co-directora de INAFOR, Idania Flores.

Puntualizaron que estas acciones son parte de la misión que tienen las autoridades de formular políticas y normativas, regular el manejo y aprovechamiento de los ecosistemas del país con la participación y el protagonismo del sector productivo, familia y comunidad.

Procesos administrativos

“Esta resolución establece los procedimientos administrativos, técnicos y legales en las comunidades y pueblos originarios que se vieron afectados, en este caso los árboles tumbados en los bosques de la Costa Caribe, para dar repuesta a problemas de las regiones autónomas, como lo es la Costa Caribe Norte como lo fueron Waspam, Bilwi, Triángulo Minero, Bonanza y Rosita, así también la atención en la zona sur de la región», indicó Idania Flores.

Las autoridades manifestaron que, a través de una Comisión Coordinada por el Instituto Nacional Forestal y el Ministerio de los Recursos Naturales, estarán supervisando la distribución ordenada de estos recursos.

They pointed out that these actions are part of the mission of the authorities to formulate policies and regulations, regulate the management and use of the country’s ecosystems with the participation and leadership of the productive sector, family and community.

Administrative processes

The authorities stated that, through a Coordinated Commission by the National Forest Institute and the Ministry of Natural Resources, they will be supervising the orderly distribution of these resources.
