Finca Ecoturística Reymar podría ser la tercera reserva silvestre privada de Siuna

La Finca Reymar, ubicada en la periferia de la ciudad de Siuna en el Triángulo Minero, Caribe Norte, podría ser declarada por el Marena como la Tercera Reserva Silvestre Privada de Siuna por sus prácticas de conservación de la flora y fauna, así lo dio a conocer el delegado del Marena Saul Castillo.

La finca Reymar fue comprada para desarrollar la ganadería, pero sus dueños estimaron que era necesario dejar una importante área de bosque para respirar aire puro, así lo expreso Xiomara Reyes Rocha propietaria de la finca.

El proyecto lo inicio su esposo y al fallecer ella ha continuado ese legado y se ha dedicado a reforestar más, pero además a construir mas quioscos que sirve para que las familias de Siuna puedan llegar y disfrutar en familia de la naturaleza.

Inicialmente la finca se comenzó a reforestar con 2 mil platas que fueron entregadas por el Batallón Ecológico Bosawás, luego con otras plantas entregadas por la universidad URACCAN se continuo con la reforestación y después vino el proyecto de la construcción de dos cabañas donde los turistas pueden quedarse a disfrutar la noche.

Esa práctica de la minería se termino y decidieron cercar la laguna y le pudieron peces y caracoles en ella para darle mas vida y hoy es uno de sus principales atractivos en la finca.

Xiomara Reyes, explicó que en la propiedad los anteriores duelos desarrollaron la minería y para ello hicieron una laguna donde almacenaban el agua para el proceso de extracción del oro.

La finca también ofrece quiscos donde las familias de Siuna y de otros municipios del país pueden llegar a disfrutar en familia, allí se les ofrece comida de todo tipo lo que el cliente lo pida, y refrescos naturales al alcance del bolsillo de los clientes.

En Siuna hay dos reservas silvestres privadas, la Hacienda Altamira y el centro recreativo el Cortez, cuatro más están en los municipios de Waspam, Bonanza y Waslala.

The project was started by her husband and when she died she has continued that legacy and has dedicated herself to reforesting more, but also to building more kiosks that serve so that the families of Siuna can arrive and enjoy nature as a family.

Initially the farm began to be reforested with 2 thousand silver that were delivered by the Bosawás Ecological Battalion, then with other plants delivered by the URACCAN university, reforestation continued and then came the project of the construction of two cabins where tourists can stay. to enjoy the night.

Xiomara Reyes, explained that in the property the previous duels developed mining and for this they made a lagoon where they stored the water for the gold extraction process.

That mining practice ended and they decided to surround the lagoon and fish and snails were allowed in it to give it more life and today it is one of its main attractions on the farm.

The farm also offers kiosks where the families of Siuna and other municipalities of the country can get to enjoy as a family, there they are offered food of all kinds, whatever the client requests, and natural soft drinks within reach of the clients’ pockets.

In Siuna there are two private wildlife reserves, Hacienda Altamira and El Cortez Recreation Center, four more are in the municipalities of Waspam, Bonanza and Waslala.
