Un juguete llena de felicidad a los niños, sobre todo en las áreas rurales de la Costa Caribe de Nicaragua, donde la pobreza extrema no permite que los padres puedan comprar un presente a sus hijos en esta Navidad.

Es en estas escuelas rurales donde gritaron de alegría cuando el Gobierno de Nicaragua llevó un juguete a cada uno de los niños de preescolar y de primaria de la escuela Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, en la comunidad de Uly abajo, jurisdicción de Siuna, en el Caribe Norte.

“Me siento muy feliz de tener un regalo que nos manda el Gobierno, nunca antes nos habían dado juguetes en la escuela”, expresó la niña Dayana Paola Centeno Rojas, de Uly abajo.

Aquí los niños llegan a estudiar con lo poco que tienen. Bismark Antonio Hernández Morra, uno de los niños beneficiados, dijo que no son juguetes viejos que les mandaron.

“Son juguetes nuevos y muy bonitos, yo estoy muy feliz de tener un juguete en esta Navidad”, comentó.

La niña Yaridania Centeno Vallé expresó que ese juguete le llega en un buen momento porque siempre en la Navidad esperan tener uno nuevo y hoy ya lo tienen gracias al Gobierno de Daniel Ortega y la vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo que se ha preocupado por los niños de Siuna.

La profesora Nohelia Pérez dijo que los niños y niñas de la escuelita nuestras señoras de Guadalupe están muy felices con sus juguetes que les entregaron esta mañana.

En Uly abajo, 28 niños y niñas de primaria disfrutaron con su juguete y 12 niños y niñas de preescolar, para un total de 40 niños y niñas que se fueron contentos a sus hogares con un regalo de Navidad.

Igual que estos niños, 136 mil 500 pequeños de la Costa Caribe Norte y Sur fueron beneficiados con los juguetes que envió el Gobierno de Nicaragua.

En el Caribe Sur fueron más de 30 mil juguetes distribuidos en las escuelas urbanas y rurales de todos los municipios, en el departamento de Puerto Cabezas, Waspam y Prinzapolka, se distribuyeron 50 mil juguetes y el Triángulo Minero, Mulukukú Prinzapolka y Paiwas fueron 56 mil 500 juguetes según datos oficiales.

Toys fill Nicaragua’s Caribbean homes with happiness

Atoy full of happiness to children, especially in the rural areas of the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua, where extreme poverty does not allow parents to buy a present for their children this Christmas.

«They are new and very nice toys, I am very happy to have a toy this Christmas,» he said.
