Autoridades del CNU visitan el caribe en solidaridad con las universidades caribeñas

Las autoridades del Consejo Nacional de Universidades se han solidarizado con las dos universidades costeñas Bluefields Indian and Caribean University y la universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüenses y con la población del Caribe Norte por los daños y afectaciones causadas por los dos huracanes Eta y Iota.

Lo anterior fue expresado por la Maestra Ramona Rodríguez presidenta del Consejo nacional de Universidades a su paso por Siuna, donde fue recibida por la doctora Angélica Leonor Ruiz Calderón vicerrectora de URACCAN Las Minas y autoridades locales de Siuna.

El Consejo Nacional de Universidades tomo la decisión de hacer el recorrido por que tienen a más de 600 estudiantes universitario, trabajadores y docentes que están desplazados desde el 19 de noviembre en todo el territorio haciendo un acompañamiento haciendo la evaluación de los daños, y eso les permite tener un acercamiento y conocer la cosmovisión de la población de la Costa Caribe, dijo la presidenta del Consejo nacional de Universidades.

La presidenta del CNU dijo que este es una visita de acompañamiento pero también de solidaridad con las dos universidades hermanas de la Costa Caribe BICU y URACCAN que fueron afectadas por los dos huracanes sobre todo URACCAN que tuvo afectaciones en sus diferentes recintos.

“También expresar para ustedes nuestra solidaridad y decirles que como universidades estaos contribuyendo todas las maneras posibles, hemos contribuido con  académicos, con especialistas para hacer un acompañamiento psicoemocional, con especialista en construcción  y con todo los que se requiera” afirmó la presidenta del CNU.

Ramona Rodríguez dijo que le han dicho a la rectora de URACCAN Alta Hooker su disposición de apoyarle en todo lo necesario para la reconstrucción.

Alberto Sediles, rector de la Universidad Nacional Agraria dijo que están acompañamiento al pueblo de la Costa Caribe de Nicaragua, para contribuir en la medida de los posible y el esfuerzo del Consejo Nacional de Universidades para ayudar en la restauración y apoyo a las familias que han sufrido los embates de los dos huracanes que han impactado en el Caribe.

Carlos Irías rector de la UNIAV dijo que la estética de URACCAN parte del sentido del cuidado ya que cuando nosotros nos relacionamos con la vida desde el cuidado, entonces la vida fluye, la vida sigue emergiendo y eso es lo que pasa acá en URACCANM, porque se ha vivido una situación dramática.

El rector de la UNIAV dijo que como la relación de la vida viene desde el cuidado eso significa que vamos a resurgir, que vamos a salir adelante y como dice la rectora Alta Hooker de URACCAN   nos vamos a levantar, y por eso nos acercamos donde ha habitado el dolor en estos días para atestiguar, que allí donde habita el dolor está emergiendo el amor, y ambos sacan lo mejor del ser humano y lo mejor es unirnos, para curar nuestras heridas.

Arturo Collado secretario técnico del Consejo Nacional de Universidades dijo que el CNU está trabajando de cerca con las universidades caribeñas y con las necesidades que tiene la población y ha destinado algunos recursos con el talento necesario para aportar como lo hace el Gobierno y distintas instituciones, el acompañamiento que hacen los estudiantes de las universidades es parte de su formación y el trabajo del CNU es aprender en el Caribe.

El Consejo Nacional de Universidades sostendrá un encuentro por separado con las dos universidades caribeñas en Bilwi y posteriormente se reunirán con el coordinador del Gobernó Regional Carlos Alemán Cuningham y demás autoridades del Caribe.

CNU authorities visit the Caribbean in solidarity with Caribbean universities

The authorities of the National Council of Universities have expressed solidarity with the two coastal universities Bluefields Indian and Caribean University and the university of the Autonomous Regions of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast and with the population of the North Caribbean for the damages and effects caused by the two hurricanes Eta and Iota.

The president of the CNU said that this is an accompanying visit but also one of solidarity with the two sister universities of the Caribbean Coast BICU and URACCAN that were affected by the two hurricanes, especially URACCAN, which had effects on their different campuses.

«Also express our solidarity for you and tell you that as universities we are contributing in all possible ways, we have contributed with academics, with specialists to provide psycho-emotional support, with a construction specialist and with all those who are required,» said the president of the CNU.

Ramona Rodríguez said that they have told the rector of URACCAN Alta Hooker their willingness to support her in everything necessary for reconstruction.

Alberto Sediles, rector of the National Agrarian University said that they are accompanying the people of the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua, to contribute as much as possible and the effort of the National Council of Universities to help in the restoration and support of families who have suffered the attacks of the two hurricanes that have hit the Caribbean.

Carlos Irías rector of the UNIAV said that the aesthetics of URACCAN starts from the sense of care since when we relate to life from care, then life flows, life continues to emerge and that is what happens here at URACCANM, because a dramatic situation has been experienced.

The rector of UNIAV said that as the relationship of life comes from care that means that we are going to resurface, that we are going to move forward and as the rector Alta Hooker of URACCAN says we are going to get up, and that is why we approach where we have Inhabited pain these days to testify that where pain dwells love is emerging, and both bring out the best in human beings and the best thing is to unite, to heal our wounds.

Arturo Collado technical secretary of the National Council of Universities said that the CNU is working closely with the Caribbean universities and with the needs of the population and has allocated some resources with the necessary talent to contribute as the Government and different institutions do, the The accompaniment that university students do is part of their training and CNU’s job is to learn in the Caribbean.

The National Council of Universities will hold a separate meeting with the two Caribbean universities in Bilwi and later they will meet with the coordinator of the Regional Government Carlos Alemán Cuningham and other Caribbean authorities.
