Celebran mayo ya con carrozas y comparsas en las calles de Siuna

El gobierno de Nicaragua en articulación con los Gobierno municipales, el Instituto nicaragüense de Turismo, Juventud Sandinista, movimiento Leonel Rugama realizaron la celebración del mayo ya 2021, con un recorrido de comparsas y carrozas por las principales calles de Siuna, en la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.

Doña Mercedes Gatica Salazar, creadora del mayo ya en Siuna, por ser originaria de Bluefields ha logrado mantener viva la tradición por mas de 60 años, al inicio se hacia el mayo ya solo en el barrio misquito town, pero después decidido sacarlo del barrio se hizo el recorrido desde campo viejo.

Hoy esa tradición se mantiene el Gobierno viene promoviendo estos eventos para mantener las tradiciones de las poblaciones de la Costa Caribe.

José Luis Solorsano delegado presidencial dijo que las autoridades acompañaron las carrozas y las comparsas que recorrieron las calles de Siuna para finalizar en la plaza Carlos Fonseca de Siuna.

Este carnaval de mayo ya que se realiza en este mes especial mes de la lluvia, el mes de la abundancia, el mes de la productividad se celebró a lo grande.

El alcalde de Siuna Otilio Duarte dijo que el carnaval a recorrido las calles y todos muy alegres y contentos, celebrando el mayo ya.

El alcalde dijo que este mes también es el mes de los agrónomos, mes de las madres, y el mes de mayo que significa la dignidad de Nicaragua.

Guillermo Antonio Ríos Palacios, sub delegado del INTUR en Triángulo Minero dijo que se esta promocionando la cultura de la Costa Caribe, es una cultura tradicional que se vive en la Costa Caribe.
