Invertirán 27 millones de córdobas para rehabilitar centros deportivos en Bilwi
Este martes 12 de octubre al conmemorarse el Día de la resistencia indígena negra y popular, el Gobierno de Nicaragua a través del Gobierno Regional Autónomo de la Costa Caribe Norte, entregó sitio para la rehabilitación de tres importantes proyectos de rehabilitación total de tres centros deportivos en Bilwi.
Las infraestructuras deportivas se tratan del estadio municipal Ernesto Hooker, el polideportivo Ferrera Dixon y el complejo deportivo Carlos González. Estos fueron seriamente afectados por los huracanes Eta e Iota el pasado mes de noviembre del año 2020.
Detalles del estadio
En su intervención el Coordinador de Gobierno del Caribe Norte Carlos Alemán Cunningham se refirió al proyecto del estadio; «este estadio tiene más de 60 años de haberse construido y jamás se había invertido tanto dinero. En esta ocasión se invertirá más de 13 millones de córdobas con fondos del Instituto Nicaragüense de Deporte (IND), el Gobierno Regional (GRACCN) con el acompañamiento de la alcaldía municipal de Puerto Cabezas». Asimismo el coordinador detalló algunos aspectos técnicos con los que contará este estadio». En este estadio se instalarán butacas en las graderías, se mejorará el terreno y por primera vez en la región será el estadio que tendrá grama en el campo de juego; además ampliarán las gradas para albergar a más aficionados», afirmó el gobernador.
Otro de los proyectos que iniciará de inmediato es la remodelación del polideportivo Ferrera Dixon. «En este centro deportivo se invertirá un poco más de 9 millones de córdobas. Contempla el reemplazo total del techo, sustitución de columnas de hierro en mal estado; también sanitarios, piso, además se instalará una pizarra digital»; remarcó Denser Chow, supervisor de obras del Gobierno Regional.
De igual forma se invertirá más de 3 millones de córdobas en el complejo deportivo Carlos González. Ahí van a mejorar el gimnasio, la cancha multiuso, estadio infantil, entre otras mejoras.

Similarly, more than 3 million córdobas will be invested in the Carlos González sports complex. There they will improve the gym, the multipurpose court, the children’s stadium, among other improvements.
