Exitoso plan de prevención del Gobierno de Nicaragua con ETA en el Caribe

Gobierno de Nicaragua en su búsqueda por fortalecer la cultura de prevención, mitigación y atención a los desastres naturales ha tenido un rotundo éxito por su buena organización ante el huracán ETA.

A partir del 2007 con el Gobierno Sandinista que dirige el Presidente Daniel Ortega Saavedra, se comienza a promover, practicar e impulsar políticas que den forma a un sistema que da protagonismo a las familias para aprender a protegerse y promover la vida ante los fenómenos naturales.

Aunque para algunos los simulacros que mandata el Gobierno en diferentes escenarios, es cosa de locos, hoy podemos dar fe con la llegada del huracán ETA a nuestro suelo patrio, que cada ejercicio ha valido la pena, porque con la categoría que traía ETA, si no hubiese habido una buena organización, tal vez algunas vidas humanas no se hubieran podido salvar.

Hoy por hoy las familias participan activamente en los diferentes ejercicios de protección que permitan hacer frente a los fenómenos naturales, tomando en cuenta que Nicaragua es un país vulnerable.

El logro de no contar con pérdidas humanas es de todos, de las familias que permitieron ser evacuadas hacia los albergues, del Gobierno que de ante mano mando a evacuar a los comunitarios en riesgo, cada institución haciendo su buena labor, autoridades regionales, municipales, secretarios políticos, en fin todos los que pusieron un grano de arena para que los hermanos costeños del Caribe Norte, pudieran resguardar sus vidas.

La lucha continua, ahora es valorar los daños materiales y ambientales, a la vez que el buen gobierno se encuentra con la tarea de atender las necesidades de las comunidades y municipios afectados por el huracán Eta, con la distribución de alimentos y primeras necesidades.

Algunos dirán el Gobierno tenía la obligación de actuar y lo hizo con toda responsabilidad, por ello, no hay que quitar el mérito de su buen accionar en el momento justo y en el tiempo  indicado.

The Nicaraguan government in its quest to strengthen the culture of prevention, mitigation and attention to natural disasters has had resounding success due to its good organization in the face of hurricane ETA.

Starting in 2007, with the Sandinista government led by President Daniel Ortega Saavedra, policies began to be promoted, practiced, and promoted to shape a system that gives prominence to families to learn to protect themselves and promote life in the face of natural phenomena.

Although for some the drills that the Government mandates in different scenarios, is crazy, today we can attest with the arrival of hurricane ETA to our homeland, that each exercise has been worth it, because with the category that ETA brought, yes there would not have been a good organization, perhaps some human lives could not have been saved.

Today, families actively participate in the different protection exercises that allow them to face natural phenomena, taking into account that Nicaragua is a vulnerable country.

The achievement of not having human losses belongs to everyone, to the families that allowed them to be evacuated to the shelters, to the Government that in advance ordered to evacuate the community at risk, each institution doing its good job, regional and municipal authorities, political secretaries, in short, all those who put a grain of sand so that the coastal brothers of the North Caribbean could protect their lives.

The ongoing struggle now is to assess material and environmental damage, while good government is faced with the task of meeting the needs of the communities and municipalities affected by Hurricane Eta, with the distribution of food and basic necessities.

Some will say the Government had an obligation to act and did so with full responsibility, therefore, we must not take away the merit of its good actions at the right time and at the right time.
