Suspenden zarpes debido a fenómeno meteorológico en el Caribe de Nicaragua
El Ejército de Nicaragua, a través del Distrito Naval Caribe, informó que se mantiene monitoreando un fenómeno meteorológico, que afectará el mar Caribe, con vientos de 16 a 19 nudos y olas de 4 a 5 pies de altura, en las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Norte y Sur.
Ante esa situación, comunicó a los dueños de embarcaciones menores, turismo y capitanes de medios de transporte marítimo, que las capitanías de los puertos de: Bluefields, El Bluff, Corn Island y Puerto Cabezas, así como los puestos de control de embarcaciones y puestos de tropas navales, no emitirán zarpes a las embarcaciones que tengan como destino mar abierto, bancos de pesca y comunidades costeras, islas o cayos adyacentes, hasta nuevo aviso.
La Fuerza Naval recomendó a las embarcaciones que ya se encuentran en labores de pesca, tomar todas las medidas de seguridad y de ser necesario trasladarse a puerto seguro, con el fin de evitar hechos que lamentar.
Sailings suspended due to meteorological phenomenon in the Caribbean of Nicaragua
The Nicaraguan Army, through the Caribbean Naval District, reported that it is monitoring a meteorological phenomenon that will affect the Caribbean Sea, with winds of 16 to 19 knots and waves of 4 to 5 feet in height, in the Autonomous Regions of the North and South Caribbean Coast.
Faced with this situation, it informed the owners of small boats, tourism and captains of maritime transport, that the captaincies of the ports of: Bluefields, El Bluff, Corn Island and Puerto Cabezas, as well as the control posts of boats and posts of naval troops, will not issue sailings to vessels destined for the open sea, fishing banks and coastal communities, islands or adjacent keys, until further notice.
The Naval Force recommended that the vessels that are already fishing take all security measures and, if necessary, move to a safe port, in order to avoid regrettable events.
