China crea expectativas para sector de mariscos
La Cámara Nicaragüense de la Pesca tiene grandes expectativas con el restablecimiento de las relaciones entre Nicaragua y China ya que ese es un mercado de alto consumo de marisco y las exportaciones pueden crecer exponencialmente.
Armando Segura, director ejecutivo de la Cámara expresó que China es uno de los mercados más grandes del mundo y que ven positivo el restablecimiento de las relaciones con Nicaragua porque representa más oportunidades.
En relación a Taiwán, Segura dijo que todavía siguen exportando marisco a ese país, ya que el gobierno aún sigue otorgando certificaciones y el Tratado de Libre Comercio aún tiene vigencia a pesar de la ruptura de las relaciones.
China Raises Expectations for Seafood Sector
The Nicaraguan Chamber of Fisheries has great expectations with the reestablishment of relations between Nicaragua and China since that is a market with high consumption of seafood and exports can grow exponentially.
Armando Segura, executive director of the Chamber, said that China is one of the largest markets in the world and that they see the reestablishment of relations with Nicaragua as positive because it represents more opportunities.
Regarding Taiwan, Segura said that they still continue to export seafood to that country, since the government still continues to grant certifications and the Free Trade Agreement is still in force despite the breakdown of relations.
