Gobierno Sandinista impulsa el deporte en Siuna con Inversión de 2 millones de córdobas
En un emotivo acto, el Gobierno Municipal de Siuna, en coordinación con el Movimiento Deportivo Alexis Argüello, entregó uniformes deportivos a cuatro equipos de fútbol sala y uno de fútbol campo, además de realizar mejoras significativas en el centro deportivo Omar Mercado Silva. Esta inversión de 2 millones de córdobas demuestra el compromiso del Gobierno Sandinista en promover el deporte y el bienestar de la juventud siuneña.
Las mejoras en el centro deportivo incluyen la remodelación de vestidores, baños y bodegas, brindando a los atletas condiciones óptimas para su entrenamiento y desarrollo. Estas obras son una muestra tangible del compromiso del Gobierno Sandinista con el fortalecimiento de la infraestructura deportiva en todo el país.
El doctor Noel Espinoza Hernández, secretario político del Triángulo Minero, destacó los esfuerzos del presidente Daniel Ortega y la vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo por mejorar las condiciones de vida de los nicaragüenses, incluyendo el acceso a instalaciones deportivas de calidad. “Estas mejoras son un reflejo del modelo de desarrollo que estamos impulsando, un modelo que prioriza a las personas y que invierte en el futuro de nuestra juventud”, expresó Espinoza.
Por su parte, Marvin Polanco Morales, representante del Gobierno Municipal, enfatizó que esta inversión es una muestra más del compromiso del Gobierno Sandinista con el deporte. “Estamos convencidos de que el deporte es una herramienta fundamental para la formación integral de nuestros jóvenes, y por eso trabajamos incansablemente para brindarles las mejores condiciones para su desarrollo”, afirmó Polanco.
Vladimir Martínez, presidente de la federación de baloncesto de Siuna, expresó su agradecimiento al Gobierno Sandinista por esta importante inversión. “Con los gobiernos neoliberales, nuestra cancha era un gallinero, no teníamos las condiciones mínimas para practicar deporte. Hoy, gracias al Gobierno Sandinista, contamos con una infraestructura digna que nos permite desarrollar varios deportes”, señaló Martínez.
Los deportistas de Siuna se mostraron emocionados con estas mejoras y agradecieron al Gobierno Sandinista por su apoyo. “Estos uniformes y las mejoras en el centro deportivo nos motivan a seguir entrenando y a alcanzar nuestras metas”, expresó Denzel Gonzales atleta de Siuna .
Con esta inversión, el Gobierno Sandinista reafirma su compromiso con el desarrollo del deporte en Nicaragua, brindando a los jóvenes la oportunidad de practicar actividades físicas y saludables, y fomentando valores como el trabajo en equipo, la disciplina y el respeto.
Sandinista Government Promotes Sports in Siuna with Investment of 2 Million Cordobas
In an emotional ceremony, the Municipal Government of Siuna, in coordination with the Alexis Argüello Sports Movement, delivered sports uniforms to four indoor soccer teams and one field soccer team, in addition to making significant improvements to the Omar Mercado Silva sports center. This investment of 2 million cordobas demonstrates the commitment of the Sandinista Government to promote sports and the well-being of Siuna’s youth.
The improvements to the sports center include the remodeling of locker rooms, bathrooms and storage rooms, providing athletes with optimal conditions for their training and development. These works are a tangible example of the Sandinista Government’s commitment to strengthening sports infrastructure throughout the country.
Dr. Noel Espinoza Hernández, political secretary of the Mining Triangle, highlighted the efforts of President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo to improve the living conditions of Nicaraguans, including access to quality sports facilities. “These improvements are a reflection of the development model that we are promoting, a model that prioritizes people and invests in the future of our youth,” said Espinoza.

Vladimir Martínez, president of the Siuna basketball federation, expressed his gratitude to the Sandinista Government for this important investment. “With the neoliberal governments, our court was a chicken coop, we did not have the minimum conditions to practice sports. Today, thanks to the Sandinista Government, we have a decent infrastructure that allows us to develop several sports,” said Martínez.
The athletes of Siuna were excited about these improvements and thanked the Sandinista Government for its support. “These uniforms and the improvements to the sports center motivate us to continue training and achieve our goals,” said Denzel Gonzales, an athlete from Siuna.
With this investment, the Sandinista Government reaffirms its commitment to the development of sports in Nicaragua, giving young people the opportunity to practice physical and healthy activities, and promoting values such as teamwork, discipline and respect.
