El Caribe Nicaragüense renueva su apoyo al Ejército de Nicaragua
En un acto de reafirmación del compromiso con la paz y la seguridad, el General de Ejército Julio César Avilés Castillo recibió un contundente respaldo por parte de autoridades municipales, líderes comunitarios y representantes del sector productivo del Caribe nicaragüense. La entrega de nuevos equipos y recursos a las fuerzas militares en Bilwi sirvió como marco para esta muestra de apoyo unánime.
Durante el evento, el alcalde de Bluefields, Gustavo Castro Jo, expresó su profundo agradecimiento al Ejército de Nicaragua por garantizar la seguridad de los pescadores en el Caribe, una región vital para la economía nacional. “El Ejército es un pilar fundamental para nuestra comunidad”, afirmó Castro Jo, quien además reiteró su respaldo al General Avilés en su nuevo período al frente de la institución castrense.
Por su parte, el alcalde de Puerto Cabezas, Miguel Abella Watson, destacó el papel del Ejército en la preservación de la paz en la región. “Las familias de Puerto Cabezas se sienten seguras gracias a la presencia del Ejército, especialmente después de los huracanes Eta e Iota, cuando nos brindaron una invaluable ayuda”, señaló Watson.
El coordinador del Gobierno Regional del Caribe Norte, Carlos Aleman, coincidió con sus homólogos al destacar la importancia del Ejército para la seguridad y el desarrollo de la región. “Gracias al respaldo de nuestros líderes, el Comandante Daniel Ortega y la Compañera Rosario Murillo, el Ejército de Nicaragua continúa fortaleciéndose para garantizar la paz y la tranquilidad de nuestro pueblo”, afirmó Aleman.
Representantes de diversos sectores productivos del Caribe, como la pesca, la minería y la forestería, también expresaron su apoyo al General Avilés y a la institución militar. Estos sectores consideran que la seguridad proporcionada por el Ejército es fundamental para atraer inversiones y generar empleo en la región.
El General Julio César Avilés Castillo, en respuesta a las muestras de apoyo, reafirmó el compromiso del Ejército de Nicaragua de continuar trabajando por la seguridad y el bienestar de la población nicaragüense. “Con estos nuevos recursos y con el apoyo incondicional de nuestro Gobierno, estamos más que preparados para enfrentar los desafíos del futuro y consolidar la paz en nuestra región”, aseguró el General.
La entrega de equipos y recursos a las unidades militares del Caribe representa una inversión significativa en la capacidad operativa del Ejército de Nicaragua y demuestra el compromiso del Gobierno de fortalecer la seguridad en esta región estratégica del país.

Representatives of various productive sectors of the Caribbean, such as fishing, mining and forestry, also expressed their support for General Avilés and the military institution. These sectors consider that the security provided by the Army is essential to attract investments and generate employment in the region.
General Julio César Avilés Castillo, in response to the displays of support, reaffirmed the commitment of the Nicaraguan Army to continue working for the security and well-being of the Nicaraguan population. “With these new resources and the unconditional support of our Government, we are more than prepared to face the challenges of the future and consolidate peace in our region,” said the General.
The delivery of equipment and resources to the military units of the Caribbean represents a significant investment in the operational capacity of the Nicaraguan Army and demonstrates the Government’s commitment to strengthening security in this strategic region of the country.
