La Costa Caribe barre en Bonanza frente a los cañoneros de Madriz
La Costa Caribe tiene un buen arranque en el inicio del campeonato nacional de beisbol de primera división comandante German Pomares Ordoñez, al barrer la serie frente a los cañoneros de Madriz en Bonanza Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.
Dwight Briton y Mar Joseph sacaron la pelota del estadio Duncan Campbell al conectar su primer vuela cercas de la temporada en el primer juego frente a Madriz y se acredito la victoria el abridor costeño Norman St. Claer en este jugo la costa venció 9×7.
El segundo juego la poderosa ofensiva costeño se puso de manifiesto en el partido destacándose Rommel Mendoza que con cuatro imparables par de dobletes, un triple y un sencillo y tres anotaciones.
Dwight Briton conectó su segundo jonrón conecto dos imparables y anoto par de carreras para team caribeño.
Otro pelotero que estuvo encendido Enel partido fue Donly Pinock que conector tres imparables entre ellos dos dobletes y una carrera anotada.

En la jornada del domingo los dos juegos la Costa Caribe tuvo que irse a muerte súbita para ganar 1-0 en este juego se vio un duelo de los dos lanzadores el zurdo Carlos Rodríguez de Madriz y el derecho Wilfredo Pinner de la Costa Caribe, juego que fue decidido por un imparable de Romel.
En el ultimo juego también la Costa se fue a muerte súbita en el octavo episodio para dejar tendido al equipo de Madriz con marcador final de 3×2.
La Costa Caribe ya esta en Rosita donde recibirá a los indígenas de Matagalpa en el estadio Jhony Plen Herrington. Matagalpa llega después de barrer a las Brumas de Jinotega y la Costa Caribe llegan tras barrer a los cañoneros de Madriz.
