Inicia torneo Pomares con participación histórica de 20 equipos
A eso de las 5 de la tarde de este viernes la XXV edición del Campeonato Nacional de Béisbol Superior “Comandante German Pomares Ordoñez” 2022, con la participación histórica de 20 equipos.
El acto oficial de inauguración se desarrollará en el Estadio Nacional de Béisbol, localizado, donde estarán presentes representantes del Instituto Nicaragüense de Deporte, IND, la Federación Nicaragüense de Béisbol Asociado (FENIBA) y las alcaldías participantes, además de los equipos y público en general.
Los juegos se realizarán los fines de semana por un poco más de 7 meses, 2 juegos cada día de 7 innings cada uno. Hoy el Bóer se enfrentará a Jinotega en la apertura del campeonato.
Y este sábado 19 de febrero, con más de mil protagonistas directos, de ellos: 500 Jugadores, 150 miembros de Cuerpo Técnico y de Apoyo, más de 400 Árbitros y Anotadores, se jugará en 10 estadios: Managua, Corn Island, Puerto Cabezas, Siuna, San Carlos, Nueva Guinea, Ocotal, Jinotepe, León y Boaco, y el Domingo 20 se jugará en Corn Island, Puerto Cabezas, Siuna, San Carlos, Nueva Guinea, Jinotega, Granada, Chinandega, Juigalpa y Matagalpa.
El Campeonato se jugará de la siguiente manera:
Una primera etapa clasificatoria con 20 equipos todos contra todos, un total de 763 juegos, que concluirá el 3 de Julio.
Una segunda etapa clasificatoria con 12 equipos en dos grupos, un total de 120 juegos más, que concluirá el 7 de agosto.
Luego dos series semifinales con 4 equipos, un total de 14 juegos más, que concluirán el 25 de agosto y una Serie Final con dos equipos, con un total de 7 juegos, que concluiría el 10 de septiembre. En total se desarrollarán 904 juegos en todo el territorio nacional durante 29 semanas.
