Mineros y pescadores del Caribe listos para el Pomares 2023
Con la realización de cuatro juegos de fogueo entre Mineros y Pescadores del Caribe concluye la etapa de preparación de los peloteros que participaran en el campeonato nacional de beisbol, comandante German Pomares 203, y están listos para recibir cada uno en su sede a Matagalpa en Bilwi y Nueva Segovia en Siuna.
Los Mineros aparecieron por primera vez en el campeonato nacional tras la desaparición del equipo Costa Caribe que dio lugar a la aparición de tres equipos, Costa Caribe Sur, Pescadores y Mineros del Caribe, lo que permite mayor participación de peloteros caribeños en el Pomares.
Los mineros hicieron una demostración de calidad en su debut al cerrar con un balance de 25 victorias y 51 derrotas cifras que la dejaron sin posibilidad de pasar a la segunda ronda en el 2022.
Por su parte los pescadores lograron un balance superior al obtener 38 victorias y 38 derrotas en el Pomares 2022 este año buscan tener una mejor presentación.
El manager del equipo Minero del Caribe Gilbert Smith Casis, dijo que han perdido varios peloteros que abandonaron el equipo pero esa necesidad fue suplida por los peloteros de la U23.
Smith detallo que están preparado para ganar mas de lo que se hizo el año pasado y continuar haciendo historia, ya que ahora hay una ventaja que los equipos a los que se lago fuera de la región, ahora ellos llegaran a Siuna y eso es una ventaja.
El timonel caribeño dijo que su picheo esta mejor que el año pasado, Bismarck Salazar será el primer abridor, se valora a Oscar Chow que si se decide tenerlo como abridor va como abridor sería el segundo, Álvaro Amador el tercero y Milder Moreno, pero hay otros lanzadores que están listo para salir ante cualquier urgencia.
