Fatal accidente en Siuna deja una víctima mortal
Un trágico accidente de tránsito ocurrió en la entrada de Siuna, cuando una camioneta impactó contra el costado de una rastra estacionada cerca de la rotonda de las Victorias. El incidente dejó como resultado una persona fallecida, sumiendo en luto y dolor a sus familiares.
La camioneta, que se dirigía de Mulukukú hacia Siuna, impactó violentamente contra la rastra. Al momento del choque, el conductor y su ayudante se encontraban dentro de la rastra y, al escuchar el impacto, se percataron de la gravedad del accidente.
En la camioneta viajaban dos personas. La joven Kenia Guisell Cantarero Molina quedó atrapada entre los hierros retorcidos. Un capitán de la Policía Nacional llegó al lugar y logró rescatarla. A pesar de tener signos vitales y una herida en la cabeza, la joven había perdido mucha sangre. Lamentablemente, falleció al llegar al hospital Carlos Centeno.
La joven Kenia Guillell Cantarero Molina, era miembro de la Juventud Sandinista 19 de Julio y participó en la mega feria de pediatría realizada en Siuna, donde trabajó llevando a los niños alegría con pintacaritas y flexiglobos.
El conductor de la camioneta, identificado como Efrain Rojas Ruiz, fue detenido y puesto a disposición de las autoridades policiales. Testigos del accidente afirmaron que Rojas conducía en estado de ebriedad y a alta velocidad. La camioneta era rentada a la empresa Operaciones Familiares Sociedad Anonima
Las autoridades investigan las causas del accidente y trabajan para determinar el número exacto de personas que viajaban en la camioneta, ya que algunos testigos señalan que podrían haber sido cuatro en total.
Este trágico suceso resalta la problemática de los accidentes de tránsito relacionados con el consumo de alcohol. La Policía Nacional ha intensificado sus campañas de prevención, haciendo un llamado a los conductores a evitar conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol, respetar los límites de velocidad y cumplir con las señales de tránsito.
Fatal accident in Siuna leaves one fatality
A tragic traffic accident occurred at the entrance to Siuna, when a van crashed into the side of a trailer parked near the Victorias roundabout. The incident resulted in one person dead, plunging their relatives into mourning and pain.
The van, which was heading from Mulukukú towards Siuna, violently crashed into the trailer. At the time of the crash, the driver and his assistant were inside the trailer and, upon hearing the impact, they realized the severity of the accident.
Two people were traveling in the van. The young Kenia Guisell Cantarero Molina was trapped between the twisted iron. A captain of the National Police arrived at the scene and managed to rescue her. Despite having vital signs and a head wound, the young woman had lost a lot of blood. Unfortunately, she died upon arrival at the Carlos Centeno hospital.
The young Kenia Guillell Cantarero Molina was a member of the Sandinista Youth 19 of July and participated in the mega pediatric fair held in Siuna, where she worked bringing joy to children with face painting and flexiglobes.
The driver of the van, identified as Efrain Rojas Ruiz, was arrested and placed at the disposal of the police authorities. Witnesses of the accident stated that Rojas was driving drunk and at high speed. The van was rented from the company Operaciones Familiares Sociedad Anonima.
The authorities are investigating the causes of the accident and working to determine the exact number of people traveling in the van, since some witnesses indicate that there could have been four in total.
This tragic event highlights the problem of traffic accidents related to alcohol consumption. The National Police has intensified its prevention campaigns, calling on drivers to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, respect speed limits and comply with traffic signs.
