Jornada de bienvenida para estudiantes en URACCAN CUR Las Minas
Con gran entusiasmo y alegría, los estudiantes becados por el Gobierno de Nicaragua en la Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense (URACCAN), en su Centro Universitario Regional Las Minas, fueron recibidos con una jornada deportiva y cultural en el auditorio Mama Cheya en Siuna, Triángulo Minero.
Los protagonistas del Gobierno en URACCAN manifestaron su entusiasmo y alegría por este recibimiento en Siuna. Ingrid Martínez Valle, estudiante de URACCAN en Siuna, expresó su felicidad por integrarse a las actividades del movimiento cultural Leonel Rugama y el área de cultura de URACCAN, ya que tiene una gran pasión por el baile. “Me siento muy feliz y contenta porque nos recibieron muy bien con todas estas actividades”, afirmó. “Hay juegos deportivos, zumbatón, ajedrez, ping pong, boxeo y pues es un ambiente muy agradable”.
Sterling Raquel Díaz, otra estudiante de URACCAN, compartió su alegría por el inicio de clases y las actividades deportivas, destacando el movimiento Guardabarranco que llevó plantas para que sean adoptadas por estudiantes y docentes.
Walkiria Otero, presidenta de la Unión Nacional de Estudiantes de Nicaragua (UNEN), explicó que esta jornada deportiva y cultural tiene como objetivo recibir a los estudiantes de primer ingreso en URACCAN y familiarizarlos con las actividades que se desarrollan de forma permanente.
Vania Chavarría Vigil, coordinadora de bienestar estudiantil de URACCAN CUR Las Minas, compartió su entusiasmo por acompañar a la juventud sandinista 19 de julio y a los estudiantes de nuevo ingreso que llegan a profesionalizarse sin pagar un peso, gracias al Gobierno de Nicaragua que asegura una educación gratuita y de calidad para la juventud nicaragüense.
Esta jornada de bienvenida resalta el compromiso del Gobierno de Nicaragua y de URACCAN con la educación de los jóvenes, brindándoles oportunidades para desarrollarse académica y culturalmente. La participación activa de los estudiantes y el entusiasmo de las autoridades reflejan el ambiente positivo y de apoyo que se vive en la universidad.
Welcome day for scholarship students at URACCAN CUR Las Minas
With great enthusiasm and joy, the students who received scholarships from the Government of Nicaragua at the University of the Autonomous Regions of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast (URACCAN), at its Las Minas Regional University Center, were welcomed with a sports and cultural day at the Mama Cheya auditorium in Siuna, Mining Triangle.
The Government’s protagonists at URACCAN expressed their enthusiasm and joy for this welcome in Siuna. Ingrid Martínez Valle, a URACCAN student in Siuna, expressed her happiness for joining the activities of the Leonel Rugama cultural movement and the URACCAN culture area, since she has a great passion for dance. “I feel very happy and content because they welcomed us very well with all these activities,” she said. “There are sports games, zumba, chess, ping pong, boxing and it is a very pleasant environment.”
Sterling Raquel Díaz, another URACCAN student, shared her joy at the start of classes and the sports activities, highlighting the Guardabarranco movement that brought plants to be adopted by students and teachers.

Vania Chavarría Vigil, coordinator of student welfare at URACCAN CUR Las Minas, shared her enthusiasm for accompanying the 19 de Julio Sandinista youth and the new students who come to become professionals without paying a penny, thanks to the Government of Nicaragua that ensures free and quality education for Nicaraguan youth.
This welcome event highlights the commitment of the Government of Nicaragua and URACCAN to the education of young people, providing them with opportunities to develop academically and culturally. The active participation of students and the enthusiasm of the authorities reflect the positive and supportive atmosphere that exists at the university.
