URACCAN fortalece procesos académicos y administrativos en Centro Universitario Regional Las Minas
Con el objetivo de fortalecer los procesos de gestión, académicos y administrativos de la Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense (URACCAN), el Consejo de Dirección de la universidad realizó una visita de dos días al Centro Universitario Regional Las Minas en Siuna.
Durante la visita, las autoridades de URACCAN, encabezadas por la Rectora Dra. Ilenia García Peralta, La maestra Cesiah Davis, secretaria general de URACCAN y el Dr. José Saballos, sostuvieron sesiones de trabajo con coordinadores de las seis áreas del conocimiento, personal administrativo, docentes, el Instituto del Buen Vivir y la Unidad de Victoria del territorio.
La Dra. García Peralta informó sobre las acciones que se están desarrollando en la universidad, en línea con las orientaciones del Consejo Nacional de Universidades (CNU). Destacó que el plan anual de compras ya está en el sistema de Hacienda y Crédito Público, y anunció que se dará a conocer el plan de compras para el territorio en 2025.
Asimismo, la Rectora mencionó que la universidad se está preparando para la visita de los pares evaluadores del Consejo Nacional de Evaluación y Acreditación (CNA). Informó que el informe presentado el año pasado fue admitido y que se está trabajando en un plan de mejora para fortalecer las áreas identificadas.
Cesiah Davis, informo del trabajo que realizan con todo el equipo de registro para tener al día la información y expedientes de los estudiantes, así como sigue de cerca el trabajo del equipo de comunicación.
El Maestro Javier Artola Guacia informó que el Centro Universitario Regional Las Minas cuenta con 489 estudiantes de primer ingreso, y que en la Universidad en el Campo (UNICAM) se tienen 798 estudiantes en el territorio.
Por su parte, la Maestra Letisia Castillo Gómez del área curricular, explicó los avances en la readecuación de los currículos de la universidad, un proceso que se realiza de forma articulada con el CNU.
La visita del Consejo de Dirección de URACCAN al Centro Universitario Regional Las Minas refleja el compromiso de la universidad con la mejora continua de sus procesos y la calidad de la educación que ofrece a los estudiantes de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense.
URACCAN strengthens academic and administrative processes at the Las Minas Regional University Center
With the objective of strengthening the management, academic and administrative processes of the University of the Autonomous Regions of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast (URACCAN), the Board of Directors of the university made a two-day visit to the Las Minas Regional University Center in Siuna.
During the visit, the authorities of URACCAN, headed by the Rector Dr. Ilenia García Peralta, Professor Cesiah Davis, general secretary of URACCAN and Dr. José Saballos, held work sessions with coordinators of the six areas of knowledge, administrative staff, teachers, the Institute of Good Living and the Victoria Unit of the territory.
Dr. García Peralta reported on the actions that are being developed at the university, in line with the guidelines of the National Council of Universities (CNU). She highlighted that the annual purchasing plan is already in the Treasury and Public Credit system, and announced that the purchasing plan for the territory will be announced in 2025.
Likewise, the Rector mentioned that the university is preparing for the visit of the peer evaluators of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Council (CNA). She reported that the report presented last year was accepted and that work is being done on an improvement plan to strengthen the identified areas.
Cesiah Davis, reported on the work they do with the entire registration team to keep the information and records of the students up to date, as well as closely following the work of the communication team.
